I bought a Ferrari 330 P4 the other day for a cheap buyout of $15,000, and a quick check online at forzamotorsport.net tells me that I have just sold it at auction for $4,000,000. :D

I also bought a Lancia 037 for $1,000, tuned it up a little and raced it, then flipped it for $200,000 because it drove horribly (stay away from this car!)

Now I have money to fund my other endeavours, so hopefully the great deals will keep rolling in.
 
i bought a gallardo to tune up for R3, as i dont quite have a decent car in that class to race with. i converted it to rwd, swapped in the v12, got the widest tires and maxed out the downforce, front and back. speed aspect is good, handling however seems questionable.

i actually did almost every mod to get it to 800(max R3). gonna see if i can get back to the v10 to reduce weight and see if i can still get it at 800.

Hehehe! No, I have school 5 days a week - I'm only on in the evenings sometimes. I just seem to get extraordinarily lucky when I go poking around for cheap deals. :)

I think you mean 400,000 not 4,000,000. The 330 regularly goes for <440,000. Same with the 037, that sells for <50,000 regularly as well.

Nope, I sold it for $4,000,000. No typo! Same with the Lancia - I know they're somewhat overinflated prices but as long as there are buyers at that price point I'll sell them at that price.

I never said that it was smart people buying them when they could spend 10% of what they spent on mine and get the same car. Maybe it was my 5-minute paint job that sold them on it!

I'll sell for as much as people are willing to pay. The hard part is finding really cheap cars to flip for max profits.
 
I bought a few 66 novas and a few older Gulwings. Then threw my paintjob and settings on the cars and sent them to a few friends that just got F4. Also bought a couple Ferrari 458 to do a paintjob a friend requested.
 
An Alfa 155 with the V6 upgrade and three '95 Mustangs - a stock version, one with the GT package and one with the Cervini upgrades and a massive bonnet scoop, plus yellow flames on black paint.

Finally tore myself away from PGR4 to send my mate a couple of FM4 replays. After trying out a few of the DLC cars for Rivals mode I think I'll be giving the R18 TDI and Mr T's understeermobile a miss but a certain three-rotor Wankel-engined dentist's drill on wheels known as the Mazda Furai caught my eye. Bought it for the sound, kept it for the laptime destruction. Awesome vehicle, worthy of the hype IMO.

[EDIT] Oh yeah, the 787B is awesome too. :)
 
I didn't buy the car today, but I did buy the ITBs and S2 weight reduction for my E30 M3, taking it to C424. This thing is a pure delight to race in C-class competitions.

Because I got paranoid with T10 knocking me down to 100,000,000. No, I didn't cheat so in the end it would all clear up but that would require me to communicate and beg T10 to look at my case. I'd rather loose a few 100k on each car than lose all my credits.
In the end, it's all money I would/will spend to help out with competition prizes and such. Maybe buy cars for people who ask nicely. :p

Oh, damn, did I miss out on a free car? But if you need another GTO, eSZee, I've got one going for a measly 9,095,000 credits at the moment. ;) I took it easy today, as my garage is getting too full, I only bought 3 GTOs, and I think about 5-6 330s, and maybe 10 other cars for virtually nothing. But don't you love it if you spent less than 10K on a car, and upon going to your garage you realize you can sell it for 220K, even more than you'd ever get back in the Auction House? :D
 
I wish I could but I've spent most of my money and I'm down to less than 15mil. I'm gonna leave that as my buffer.
I'm concentrating on selling my cars, for now. So if anyone wants a car, a reasonably priced car, ask away. If you're nice enough, I'll send it to you.
