"Rated E for Everyone"

And I lost it at the vacuum cleaner engine sound.

I think the technical term is 'LOL FAIL' or something

On a more serious note, a GTA style game with sim physics :drool::drool: Set it in London imo, we need a new The Getaway

Looking at the title of this thread I thought I'd be leaving a reply saying simply "no"

Funny vid ins

Surely the graphics on GTA are much better than that by now?

At any rate I would want nothing to do with any part of GTA merged with GT.

Its funny a few years back some of my friends were raving about GTA making it sound like it was a great driving game. I eventually loaded it up and gave it a try. Worse than I ever imagined, to even call it a driving game was absurd.

Even for 2004 those seemed pretty lame. Of course GTA was out before 2004. I don't know when it first came out but I know it was before 2003. Still those graphics were pretty bad int he video blocky wheels and such a far cry below PS2 versions of GT much less PC versions of any decent game in the last 10-15 years

Open worlds with full sim driving is always the dream.
Though GTA4 i reckon had the best driving so far, nothing funner than driving the dukes when it starts raining

GT3 was released in 2001.

OK that gave me a good chuckle, thanks OP! The "thud" sound effect just killed me

-edit- and I'd give anything for an open world GTA size map but with GT physics..:eek:. There was actually something really cool with Test Drive Unlimited 2, you could drive around and find 3-4 actual race tracks on the map and have impromptu races. It was SO MUCH FUN. I'd be driving around the map and drive past a race track and see someone driving on it and we'd race for a few laps and then I'd drive off to some place else. So awesome. I know the game itself was a bit of a mess but I LOVED the open world bit of it.

Always wanted to have something like NFSU or GTA style game with Gran Turismo driving physics (wheel support of course). "Realistic" street racing game would be so awesome.

Open world with simulation physics and full damage modelling. Yeah that's a definite dream. I wonder if it would be too demanding or if it can be done today.

Nobody mentioned the damage model? In GTA 5 a slight touch can scratch your car.

Would be hilarious if the cheats are carried too :p Chitty chitty bang bang.
