What is a Birthday Ticket?

What are they, used for, and why are so many people wanting these... thanks.

A birthday ticket gives you a car that was made on the year of your birthday. For example, if someone was born in 1986 and sign into the game on their birthday, the game will give them a ticket for a random car with the year '86 at the end.

The reason why so many people want them is because they can be easily exploited to get the cars they want.

Slightly off topic, if you log in AFTER your birthday, will you still get the ticket or does it have to be on your birthday?

There is a trick to this "Birthday Ticket"
All you have to do is make a new PSN account with your birthday year 67' (that's the best) and then log onto GT5 and you might be lucky and get the Ford Mark IV or The Ferrari Lemans Car. Because they were both made in 67'

I got the Yellowbird, apparently PD want to kill me. I took them up on that challenge and tuned it (as I already had one) and my current goal is to get round Tsukuba in under a minute on sport softs. I got to 1.01.433 in five laps so I don't think that's a particularly difficult goal...

Monday is mine..and I actually was born in '67. I already have the P330 Ferrari, so I am hoping for the Ford Mark IV. Even if I get another Ferrari, I can't trade it for the Ford, so...will keep my fingers crossed.

What I really want is 65 Shelby Daytona. Sad that that was not included in the game.

The Mugen Motul car is pretty awesome, especially if you tune it a bit. And the Yellowbird is also a brilliant car, though it takes some getting used to (tuning helps it a lot). In fact, it's one of the most sought after cars on the Used Lot.

Out of the cars in that list, I would aim to get either the RUF CTR “Yellow Bird” or the Skyline GTS-R (R31). Personally, I think the Skyline GTS-R is the rarest car on the list as I only remember seeing it once before.

Yea i never really messed with the civic and I had the yellow bird. I used the ticket just now and got the R31

Yes, same for any ticket. No, no one can do it on one try, hence ticket grinding.

yea just restart when it asks you to use the car or not
