Saw that too, I think something was lost in translation. Of course it's referring to how many positions you advanced relative to your starting position, but I'm not sure what they meant to say.
@Method36 is correct. It is how much total position you improved from starting until finish position. The wording is strange, though. Just a translation error, but still needs to be fixed.
