on the compare on the fanatec site the seem the same featurewise except for the Xbox 360 compatibility.
If they are the GT3RS seems a better deal for me!

Yup, that is pretty much the only difference (apart from colour and the stripe) that lets Fanatec charge more.

... and it has lighted buttons.

... and the fact that the wheel is wireless.

The 360 uses a completely different FF system, so the fact that it works on PC, PS3 and 360 is no small thing, and of course it cost more.

Also, that 360 licensing cost money.

They aren't simply charging more arbitrarily.

I know but really they are there... I meant pretty much. But it is expensive, if you are using the PS3 only, go for GT3RS.

but FFb wise it is the same?

so for me as a non '360 owner the GT3RS is the better/cheaper option?

Yeah.

The FF is the same.

If you don't have a 360, or any plans to have, then I would definitely say the differences don't justify the price difference.

another difference: according to Greekbull (see his mini review thread) it has same hard mounting points as Logitech wheels. not a deal breaker, but a nice touch since many rigs only pre drill for logitech. so in the end just makes it easier to hard mount 👍
