Well the title says it all what is the rariest car you or someone in your familys owns or owned?
For me is probably a rolls royce.

*EDIT* Not by me by my uncle.

My cousin has a BMW Z8. We currently have a Subaru BRAT (not rare due to expense, but simply because nobody bought BRATs, except my dad). And my uncle used to have a Cadillac Catera – the car that Cadillac couldn't have paid people to take away.

My grandfaher had a 440 Plymouth Fury, which just happened to be a retired police cruiser. He got rid of it a long time ago, :(.

 that IS rare.
I know a few other uncles that have 04 745i's one said he was gonna get a 760 LI or I I told him dont buy it please get something else. And then I gave him a few reason and he said I will think about it.

My dad had a 66 Impala. Wasn't rare in the 70s, but they are't common now.

My uncle owned a the most expensive type of Ferrari F355 (F1 I think it was)
and a BMW 760Li.

EDIT: The Ferrari is gone now, and the 760 is now a 745. We ran short on money 2 years ago.

My Dad used to have a 70 something Landrover 110. But he sold it when i was a kid. I have a 77 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40, but those really arent too rare. Actually, the exact configuration of my 89 Toyota P/U is probably pretty rare. It has the 22r (not 22re) and a 4spd Manual. It would probably be pretty tuff to find another 89 like that.

No idea.
Probably a four door automatic R32 Nissan Skyline GTS-4?
Or countless Ford Falcons?

We've had so many cars that i've forgotten just about all of them. :(

My big brother has one of the 500 Subaru Impreza WR1s.

My mom used to have a 1960 Impala convertible, and a 62 vette. my dad had a 61 lincoln convertible when I was 4. once we drove through the car wash, but we forgot that there was a nickel sized hole in the top. :dopey: My sister had a pontiac grand prixthat had a special navigation package /compass thingy that was only offered to GM employees.( she bought it used)

My uncle owns a 1943 Lincoln Continental Convertible.

Absolutely beautiful car.

^ One of my favorite cars of all time!

My grandparents used to have a Morris Minor, one of the least rare cars ever.
My dad used to have an older Mustang GT, I dont remember what year.
One of my dads friends just bought his dad a yellow Daytona Spider, IIRC there were 124 of those! Said friend also traded his Silver '02 Porsche Twin Turbo for a new GT2.
Used to know some guy who has/had a yellow Ferrari 333SP, which I got to sit in when I was younger.

Pimp Racer,
What type of RR?

My dad use to own an Opel GT(my mom even helped him make a small Opel rug, which I have in my room) that he use to autocross. He also had a '84 GSL-SE for a couple years and was sold in '98. We also had a I6 5 speed '82 Maxima.
My brother owns/owned a Porsche 928, Corvair, and a '60's Jag sedan...unfortunately those were not driveable and were sold on E-bay for parts. Hehe. :)

I had a Lancia Delta Integrale, but it was total piss, that's rarest.

And of course, who can forget the black on black 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee TSi V8 4x4? They only made the TSi for one year; it's the best-looking domestic vehicle ever. I believe I bought both of those vehicles the same day.

I want to buy a Toyota Camry All-Trac (4WD) but those were only made in the late 1980s and early 1990s and I don't know enough about cars to keep it running. That would be rarest. I also kind of want a Volvo 780, but same problem.

My mom owned a 1965 Mustang in seafoam green. Is that rare enough?
My aunt owns an old Bugatti. I have no clue what it is, though. All I know is my grandfather used to race it.

My immediate family sucks when it comes to cars. The rarest car either of my parents have owned would probably have to be some Dodge 600 Turbo from the mid 80s... and my uncle owns an '81 Celica. Otherwise it's all been lame SUVs and mediocre sedans.

But I know where the car guy part of me comes from despite the automotive wasteland in my immediate family. Apparently, my dad tells me that a distant uncle of mine who used to be a very high ranking employee of Chrysler is a car collector, and owns a Dodge Viper . Although, due to my dad's anti-social nature, I have never met said relative, and do not know the extent of his collection :grumpy:.

My dad had a Mach 1 Mustang back when he was in school. It was a great car until it was t-boned.
Sucks. Was it a '73 (god please make him say it wasn't)?

RA60's are rare nowadays. :)

Can you believe my summer bus driver once owned and sold off an eight-six? He bought a 1995 replacement for his wife because she wanted a newer car. Pfft :grumpy:

It doesn't quite fit the brief but - My Grandad used to know two brothers (fellow Ford dealership owners) who used to own a Ferrari 250GTO each![I/] - they sold one of them to a japanese business man in the early 90's for big money[I/] - i don't know if they still have the other - or even if they are still alive - they must be in their 90's now.

Great for mid-life crisis! 👍

The rarest car my family has owned is probaly a Ford falcon or a festiva, they arnt even rare. My uncle had a HSV Clubsport, for his work car. One of my best friends dads has a Holden VY Commodore SS Wagon, only 500 made and he also has some sort of Austin Healy(sp?).

Famine
My big brother has one of the 500 Subaru Impreza WR1s.
Pah! His last one was rarer! Only 444 of them.

As to my family, it's my 406 Coupe yet again. They tend to see cars as something that gets you from A to B. I must've been adopted.... :dopey:
