What is the worst car you brought?

FGT. it takes some persuasion to turn and when it does it overdoes it and spins out. plus its HP and handling makes it practically useless for 900PP.

Really? Useless for 900PP? There are a handful of cars that are over 800PP. Unless you're comparing it to the X2010, which isn't realistic to do, for many reasons. The FGT falls into the category of "an hour to learn, a day or more to master".

That Pontiac Sunfire GXP Concept '02. What a a turd. It's horrendously slow, despite having a respectable amount of horsepower and not being very heavy, it understeers like hell, almost had to go to a stand still to stop it from understeering into a wall. :dunce: It redlines at about 5k rpm, why so low? It's not like it's a diesel. And then there's the transmission, that features some of the worst gearing ever. The gears, all four of them (how ancient) are so far apart, practically taking a sledgehammer to all of your progress. You're flooring it, pedal to the metal, and then bam, shift up, car goes to 2k or so rpm, and you're back at a snail's pace. But then again, flooring it is snail's pace, too. So, yeah, this car is really, really, really, bad. It's unspeakably bad. The driving experience makes a Camry seem like a sports car. :scared:

I don't like the Trueno S.Shigeno version. Just not enough torque, and the other two ae86 have the option for a 6 gear trans and it's stuck with 5.

For me I have to regrettably say the f2007. Why regrettably? Because I grinded my skinny little thumbs off to get it hoping it would be amazing, and it wasn't. It by far exceeded all of my expectations. What I got was one of the most amazing and exhilarating cars ever and I can't use it for anything other then the one seasonal. That car is one of a select few that just make you smile when you drive, and pd made me want to use my disk to reflect light into someone's eyes while they did something very tedious because I can't use it. Grrrrrrrrrr.

The Honda S500 has that exhaust note that makes you go deaf by 3rd gear. If you get that far. Normally i don't pick on slow, old cars like this, but its so infuriatingly slow and loud i just could not deal with it.

First I mentioned the beautiful but useless Alfa Brera.

Now (although I'll hate myself for mentioning this car), I have to say the Cizeta-Moroder V16T.

It's fast, and it has a heavenly engine sound which is probably the only one that sounds just like the real thing. But if it doesn't understeer, it oversteers. This thing is harder than a brick...

But it's such a beautiful machine :)

The Lexus LFA

Despite being Japan's best supercar ever, it has no attainable downforce, which makes it useless to me. Handles like crap. (at speed)

But this is canceled out by it being the easiest way to get flat black.

first i said gtr spec-v, now, Bugatti Veyron. It looks bad compared to a premium car, then again so does every standard car. It is awful in corners and i have a ferrari Enzo faster than it. Epic fail:sick:

Good one:tup: The stock transmission sucks big time also. Even the cheaper IS-F is an overall better car.

Another thing that saves it, other than getting Matte Black paint chips, is the engine. I swear that if the LFA had a turbocharged 6 cylinder like any other Japanease car, then I would totally stay away from it.

SkierPS3
I expected the Yellowbird to be a bit less tail-happy, as in actually usable.

I expected the opposite really - from what I'd heard I was expecting a genuinely hard drive. But it wasn't as bad as what had all been said - definitely slided far too much, but not that drastically to me.

In terms of looks, I would say the BMW M5, Nissan Silvia S13, RX7 FC and some others. Not that they are ugly, but is that they have flaws in their in-game design.

As for handling, I would say the Alfa Romeo Brera. That car is probably the most beautiful in the game, yet so horrible to drive. It's massive weight, AWD system and old engine make it the most boring sports car in GT5. Even tuning it to a healthy 300HP, modifying it's center differential to have 90% of torque at the back wheels, adding sports suspension, dropping two stages of weight, and putting soft sports on it, still feels like a 200HP car that simply doesn't turn...

Now that you mentioned it, I'm reminded what a fat piece o crap the Brera is. I'm totally with you on that.

While that may be the case, this car is a very nimble one when tuned up with the proper parts. I can comfortably beat Skylines and Lancers with mine. :sly:

Mine, in no particular order:

Citroen Race Car (Largely Underwhelming. The road car can get more power and The road car seems alot quicker.)

F2007,F10 (Brilliant cars, limited use)

S15 RM (After so long tuning, it just still feels largely unbalanced.)

Mustang GT (So slow even when fully tuned. Poor weight balance of 65/35)

Evo X (Again, something I was expecting more from in terms of power.)

Elise 111R (Expecting more in terms of handling, didnt really expect the vast ammounts of over steer that it had/stil has even after a lot of tuning.)

Caterham 7 (Fun little thing, tuned right it corners well, but doesnt seem to have all that much acceleration for something with a power to weight of +0.5hp/kg)

Lamborghini LP640-4 (wasnt expecting the huge ammount of oversteer from a 640hp, 1700kg 4WD that has the recipe for understeer. Cant seem to dial it out too much or I end up with truckloads of understeer)

The Corvette C5-R '00... This was by far the biggest lunchbag letdown for me in GT5. I could have sworn it was a great car in GT3 or GT4 (can't remember which). Even after tuning, cement shoes handled better than this car.

The most Japanese cars are ideal! For the Nürburgring. Funny thing is that I don't use Japanese cars there at all.

The R35 GT-R goes way to wide, it sucks at handling while the others (< R35) don't...

If you ever drifted it, it is better than any car i've ever tried to drift. hell, it's the only car i use to drift 'cause it's THAT good!

I agree with you 100% on that. Fully stock LF-A with no tune will drift gracefully.

it has a perfect balance of handling, but tipping a but to the 'oversteer' side. Entering a corner does not require a lot of speed either, but use 3rd gear wisely, more prefferably into an early 3rd gear shift. i like my lfa with ride height to the lowest. it handles nicely.

Audi R10, it's slow and understeers like a truck, there's no way the real car is anything like the one in the game.

Lotus Elise. It looks like a drift car when stick tuned

GT by Citroen Roadcar, people want to talk about the GTR's understeer, try using this car through non-high speed turns.

Understeers? What did you do to it? I only get oversteer from it.

+2:tup:

There isn't a drop of understeer in this car. As a matter of fact, even oversteer is almost unnoticeable on it. That car handles beautifuly neutral, unlike many Quattro driven Audis.

Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car. It was too skittish, even with only 345hp. I was rather disappointed with it. It did look good, though.
