Which is your favorite track?

grand valley reverse. left hand sweeper at end of front stretch and having to get on the brakes while still in the right hander before the chicane, awesome. HARD to get right.
 
I picked El Capitan. It has loads of different types of turns which make it great for testing cars. I love blasting around it in one of my Vipers. :)
 
El Capitan!! It has the best scenery! :lol:

1. El Capitan (my vote): Because it captures the spirit of Gran Turismo, a long winding highway; snaky, bumpy snarky turns and beautiful scenery. My only gripe is that it's too short... .

That's something I'd love to see in VisionGT! A longer El Cap!
 
I have chosen El Capitan. Mostly because of its little uneven place where you start going uphill and then very fast you start to go back down hill again. The ground is uneven so when you're going down the slope really fast, the car tends to drift/skid 👍 👍 👍
 
Any other GT game, and it would have been Midfield. But, due to the screwing up of the chicane on the back straight, El Capitan is now Numero Uno.
 
Midfield without a doubt. I agree with Toronado in that they messed it up a bit with the changes to some of the turns, but it's still unparalleled in fun factor. It's not too difficult, but it still has some technical parts that you have to complete correctly for a fast time. You get everything you want in a track - long straights, big sweeping turns, slow tight turns, fast chicanes. Perfect for two player battles.
 
High Speed Ring- It brings me back good memories from GT1
Midfield Raceway- A quicktrack to test the cars
Trial Mountain- I don't know why i love it
El Capitan- Good to test how the car is at high speeds
Deep Forest- Good to test a car on turning and traction
 
El Capitan for me:- fab scenery, and good for testing your skills.

However trial Mountain, both Grand Valleys, the night-time Route 5s and High Speed Ring also get my vote as they are much better than they were in earlier GTs, and its nice to see the old favourites still there.

I wish Red Rock Valley had made it though, would have been great for atmospheric phots with its dusk setting.

i own and play all of the main GT title (GT, GT2, GT3, GT4) and yes, i do like the special stages.......like i said, i just put down what was in the "Original Circuits" menu in GT mode........if you want, i will start a new thread just on favorite special stages :indiff:
 
i think El Capitan is growing on me.........i like the blind corners (especially in reverse! :p )which require you to know the track.......and of course, i love the long strait were you get to actually use your top gear.......trial mountain and midfield are still my favorites though
 
El Capitan is challenging, but when you get it perfect, it felt quite rewarding.
 
Top 5 tracks:

El Capitan -- Jaw-dropping scenery and an amazing drive
Midfield Raceway -- Fun in a way that's really hard to describe
Grand Valley -- It just feels great when you nail this track perfectly, maybe because it seemed so impossible when I first drove it in GT1
Apricot Hill Raceway -- Probably the track most improved from its original appearance in GT1
Trial Mountain -- Still a great track, even though it has become familiar almost to the point of being repetitive.
