What is your most dreaded course?

Hate ascari cause of super license with the Bugatti , stupid track ugh

I Bronzed it again, a few hours ago, on a new profile (no use of Anniversary benefits and cars, only using prize cars and two cars bought) and it was a little less difficult this time. Still, I was quite happy with the first attempt until I saw I was 5 seconds off. It's a matter of flow and practice, but I cannot see myself ever being able to Gold it. It's a very fine course, with lots of blind corners and sudden tight turns. But in the very wobbly Bugatti, even with driver assists fully applied, it can become drudgery.
By the end I was lacking a few tenths of a second, and I knew I had it nailed when I jumped though the "S" right from the start, leaving the ghost car well behind.

Done it gold with abs 1 TC 0 , you gotta break super early and on some corners PD has made you gone way too slow so basically do a bronze lap and keep pushing harder till you get gold is what I did.

Most dreaded track has to be Ascari - so complex and technical it is a nightmare to learn.

Take your fave 400-500pp car there in arcade mode and just do lap after lap in time trial mode until you've got the course memorized. You'll get the hang of it.

For the LONGEST time, the Nordschleife was my nemesis, all the way up until GT5.

I was DETERMINED to get the PS trophy for lap-time in a GT-R. After many long months and many runs, I finally got it. Now, Nürburgring feels like playing in my backyard. :)

As of now? I suppose I don't have a "dreaded" course, but there's courses I'm still getting the feel for (Bathurst, Ascari, and a couple of others.)

Bathurst. I don't hate it but with my current driving style, that place is one big trap for me. I have a very aggressive style and like really early overtaking while everyone else is still bunched up, and despise waiting all under the impression that if I make a mistake later or lose my opponents late, I'll never be able to make it up. So, with its elevation changes and its twisty up-and-down sections and a straight with a kink and chicane that's daring me to make an overtake there, it dares me to get impatient and strike, that I'll get away with it, that I can totally make it, and then it slams the door on me.

I'm starting to learn to be more patient and consistent, so with time I think I'll genuinely enjoy Bathurst in faster cars from now on.

Laguna Seca's corkscrew is very annoying. Willow Springs also annoys me with its last extended corner, the corner thins out and tightens up towards the end so you inadvertently speed off the track and understeer.
Just imagine that corner at 160 on a bike, full lean with your elbow touching the Tarmac, on the breaks and downshifting... Just missing the pit in the apex. That's willows signature corner... And PD did a masterful job recreating it. Oh to be young and stupid... I miss those days... Ignorance really is bliss...

Ascari is a pain for me, I just haven't learned it yet and you get thrown off that track in the blind turns... And I loose my way around as I swear some turns are are very much alike when approaching them.

I love Mount Panorama, but for 🤬 sake I just cannot get to grips with it.

And I deeply hate Circuito De Madrid, Gran Turismo Arena and Willow Springs.

Gran Turismo Arena, it's just those damn kart challenges that bug me the most.

Running any city course in reverse, not matter what I cannot get the braking points correct.

In my case, it has to be Cape Ring (all versions). I can drive there no problem, with all types of cars. What I really don't like it's the layout itself, there are tracks that every lap is a joy, but this one get in my nerves.

On the other side, Bathurst it's amazing, my "new Nurburgring". I remember one online race where I was catching the car in front on the descent part of the track and I gained 2 sec in just that sector and manage to overtake right after the forest elbow corner, very intense.

I've read so much about ascari, and I see why, very difficult to master, but I think it's that kind of tracks that the more you drive it the better it feels.

Ascari for me is shocking.

It doesn't flow like a racetrack should, and for what is basically a playboys playground there are far too many blind corners. This is why I hate the S-5 license test so much. Awful track in that shoddy Bugatti.

For me, it's Nurburgring. It's long, and if you screw up the race (Happens to me all the time on the straight), it takes a while to recover.

Plus, they put it in the most annoying races. Rainmasters, and a timed event.

On the other hand. The Ring is my favorite course in the universe. I always love to test my most recent cars there, seing what kinds of lap times they can get, and determining what car class they fall into.

I prefer mount panorama for testing, it's like Nurburgring, but only smaller. It still has a straight, and a nice windy path.

But I love that track if it's online, but up against the A . I in this game it's no fun.

I use the ring mostly for lapping and determining a machine's character better. I usually run there with the machine's dealership tyres (Usually SH tyres).

Big Willow & Nürburgring GP. I'm struggling to like Bathurst, but only because I don't know it (and the terrible framerate problems on the way down the mountain... and the sound glitching at the last bend).

Ascari, I've hardly raced yet.. but I'm not a fan. It looks dull for starters, and it's just got the feel of a randomly generated course creator track... though I'm sure for it's actual layout it will be good to drive.

At the end of the day, I welcome all new circuits. Mostly, the more you learn them, the better they get.
