Until I reached lvl 40 A spec a few days ago, it was the 4 hour Nurburgring....

Other than that, a few thousand laps around Indy with my Vette ZR1 in the Amercian Championship and alot of grinding my Stealth Mazda 787B in the DCC....

I'm lvl 40 a spec, got the majority of XP glitching. I'm 34 b-spec, been getting most of my XP by letting my bobs do endurance races while i sleep, but they did the 9hr endurance yesterday while I was at work and they're doing it again now while Im at work.

I'm doing it straight up.
I don't mind replying championships or endurance events with different cars.
The seasonal events are a great change of pace.
Why bother play if you're going to rubber band your controller.

I can't forsee ever doing anything to get XP in GT5. It takes so long to get money that XP comes basically free. Due to my habit of trying to make the game challenging by driving stock/gimped/underclass cars, I never ever ran into anything I couldn't do because of lack of XP until now when it's just endurance races left. Didn't exactly take very long to get from the first couple to the Nürburgring 4-hour either. I suppose it will take a long time to get from level 35 to 40 but that's just for two or three races that I don't want to do without in-race saving anyway, so it will come when it comes.

B-Spec is the same way, I can do plenty of races and by the time I get to enduros, I'll just be using B-Spec purely for money anyway and so I'll do stuff for money and eventually get the last couple open. Watching an AI driver who I can't co-drive with driving for 24 hours isn't exactly high on my list of things to do anyway, so when/if I can, I will.

I think I was helped though as I read something about XP being raised for January, which was when I started playing. So I probably got a big head start, and then they jacked up the XP to a similar rate with the last actual patch.

i buy a car and start in beginner and bring it as far as i can through all the series, tuning and upgrading only when needed.

Wow, either you're good, race in big fields or things aren't so easy since 1.09

Nurgurgring 4h for A spec, same and Tsukuba for B spec.

Currently grinding Dream Car for cash and B spec Achievement trophy.

I did 'rubber band' a while back but not done for ages, I just grind the Indy race in 'Like The Wind' now for some quick & easy credits. All I do in the game now is buy different colours of cars that I like, so don't really need that much although the odd race car will come along for 1 million credits that requires some more grinding. Don't mind though, all good fun. 👍

4 hour Nurburgring was how I got to level 40. seemed long at the time, but having done the 24 hour race in CLK Touring car at the weekend 4 hours would feel like nothing now.
