The Nations Cup and Manufacturers Cup will have “live” components, presumably similar in form to the regional finals held around the world each year for GT Academy. Polyphony Digital and Sony are actively looking to promote Gran Turismo as an “e-sports” platform to promote virtual motorsports in the future.

We have also learned that organized “online events” are also planned to be held on a regular basis.




I will probably compete with either BMW or Nissan. And I predict Nissan will win because GTAcademy has influenced gran turismos best drivers. :) I can't wait for more info, who will you be driving for?
 
That's easy. Nissan. I've owned three Nissans IRL, and my next one will also be a Nissan. Great cars. In GT6, I almost exclusively used Nissan in the career races. My 500PP Primera easily outran 650PP cars, it was so much fun, haha.

Most likely Mazda. Will be interesting to see if that statement applies in the virtual world.

Chevrolet or Mazda, I hope we can represent more than one make, like make the rule so that it's one make from a region
 
I would represent Daihatsu. If that would be impossible, any other manufacturer that doesn't receive deserved attention and respect.
