Didn't know that Nokia's bluetooth was like that. Can't say i've noticed any glaring BT problems before with friend's Nokias.
Glad you like the Symbian OS. I've got a P800 as a backup phone and i love all the apps and games that can be ran on the OS. Didn't realise you can play California Games on it though! A slice of mega arcade action, might have to check that one out.
Is the fact that the screen rotates useful in anyway aside from just taken a photo of yourself?

I'm getting the Samsung P735. I lost my Samsung E315.

the camcorder like thing rotates on the middle axis and it's like a normal flip

i really love this phone hey, it's got bluetooth, infrared, wap over gprs, vga camera that can take video, it can play MP3s and radio

it's got symbian OS so i can put third party apps on it, my friends can't believe i can play california games (vnes emulator) or worms armageddon (vboy emulator) on my phone, or use it as as tv remote control (psilock IRremote)!

it's got and rs-mmc slot so i can put a 1gb memory card in it if i want to. it's got a really nice high res screen, and the predictive text is excellent

my only two gripes about the phone are: the crappy loudspeaker, it's always too loud or too quiet and the quality is awful. and nokia bluetooth only works with other nokia bluetooth. i can receive images from my friend's motorola, but i can't send to him. which sucks, cos i have some really good car pics and porn on my phone which he loves :P

Nice! my palm zire does that!I go around behind everone pretending i'm writing somehing, and start changing channels. It'seven better on a phone - can't find the remote for the tv? Just call it!

Why is it nokias have such crappy loudspeakers? It p***es me off.

Green Gloves
2 magapixel 3x optical zoom, need I say more? :D

V602SH by Sharp, carried by Vodafone Japan. Here is a pic:

It amazes me how far behind we in the US are and why that is... :odd:

Green glove, do you happen to have other pics of phones there? Also do you have multi-task or multi-fucnction phones there like PDA phones? I'm doing a project for school on them and I'd like to know how the phones there help make your life easier. Say for instance I know they implimented where you can use your phone as a wallet or debit card because there are systems in place for that stuff. What other features do they have?

Thanks for your help 👍

VipFREAK,

Here are a whole bunch f pictures of the phone:

The phone itself is not all that great to be honest. There are dozens of phones that are a lot more sophisticated here in Japan.

My phone (V602SH) came out about half a year ago and it is meant to be the cheap alternative to many other good phones carried by Vodafone jp. I paid 1 yen (roughly a penny in US dollar) for it.

However the catch is I am tied down for a two-year contract, so fingers crossed it will last that long. Here is a pretty good description of what the phone can do, I couldn't have said it better myself: (correction to what I previously believed, it has a 2x optical zoom lens)

http://www.mobilegazette.com/sharp-v602sh-v402sh.htm

I got the basic service so there are only minimal airtime (about 100 minutes) but I use the email and messaging most of the time anyway, and they are cheap (1 yen - 5 yen per message). And the serivce costs about 4000 yen per month.

The camera however is the heart of the phone. It takes decent pictures if you try hard enough. Here is a sample picture I took: (I have to sacrifice some resolution since its file size is too big)

that is incredible quality from a mobile phone, i don't believe they can cram a 2MP camera into a phone these days. i bought a 2.1MP digicam at the start of year 2000 and it cost me like a grand! :)
