Every ones ideas on the music people want in gt4 (good tunes only)

Bring back TURBO LOVER and 99 RED BALOONS!!!!!

More punk rock, like Goldfinger or Millencolin or Green Day. No rap music either.

true i dont why rap is assosiated with racing. its the wrong music for racing.

maybe a bit of brum n bass and more rave stuff and stuff like digital assasians, crystal method , chemical brothers, fluke and prodigy etc

Thats true

Thats the sort of stuff I would love to be in the game. No punk rock or anything like that.

I'm with Squid and wildcard, rap music doesn't really go along with a raging engine. Thank god for distortion pedals.

I don't know why Alternative is assosiated with racing. It's the wrong music for racing.

Asshole.

IMO, any song that has high tempo, good lyrics, and gets you going would be good for GT4.

Almost any Rap-music then?

High tempo...

anyway, Yes we need to bring back turbo lover, 99 Red Balloons, and She Sells Sanctuary, for they are the three greatest songs in GT3.

Some electronica is good for racing, lots of 80' rock is good for racing...

I didn't say Rap, you did. I said any song.

Also "Racing in the Streets" by Springsteen
"I can't drive 55" by Sammy Hagar
"Heavy Metal" by Sammy Hagar
"Headknocker" by Foriegner

Honestly, I turned off the racing music about halfway through Beginner level. I only listen to it during replays, but for some reason it only seems to have about 4 songs it uses there, though I only turned off a couple.

no but seriously, this is a racing game.. not a "cruising" game. If you would be cruising around tracks, then rap would be ok i guess. I prefer not to have any music on, but for the replays a good song makes the replay that much better. Ive been watching alot of Initial D lately, and altho Im not a dance/techno fan, I really like the music when the racing starts and all. There should be more of that.. maybe even take a few songs right off Initial D? Some speed metal might be ok also, but not everyone likes that kind of music. I wish they would put Rammstein - Adios in there. Its such a good song for the replay.

👍

GT4 should have lots of Classic Rock like Van Halen and (early) Metallica and Motley Crue. Maybe some Lynyrd Skynyrd. I think it should have more songs from the electronica genre too. What would be better. is if the PS2 had a hard drive like the Xbox so you could listen to your own tunes while racing ;)

I will probably turn it off also. But if they are going to include music, IMHO, they should stay away from rap, and focus on rock.

I just wanna hear mainly some rave/trance/dance songs, those songs are fast and pump you up for racing, in GT3 I just turn off the music and play rave

Initial D music. man that stuff is good. but then again, it might only be good because its associated with racing. if i heard those songs not on initial D, i might not find them as thrilling.

Something fast and upbeat (like techno/trance or punk rock). Slow music (like rap) is not good for racing.

I hope they have Rock, Rap, Alternative, J-pop, all that good stuff, but no country, I cannot stand country music, it makes me tired. I think they had a little TOO much rock in GT3 though, and alot of it just didn't fit my tastes. I hope they have 99 Red Balloons still. One of my favorite songs.
