What music do you listen to when playing GT5 ?

If I'm just having fun or making money, I've been watching Top Gear running in Netflix on my computer :)

When running competitively online, nothing but the engine sounds.

Black or White - MJ
Eye of the tiger - Survivor
Adventures of rain dance maggie - RHCP
Action Needs Audience - Jimmy Eats World

I recently stopped with in-race music in GT5 because the game started to recently glitch up in music selection. Suddenly out of the blue, the game's terrible soundtrack starts playing for no apparent reason, and I just get peeved by it. I usually race with no music most of the time so I can bug my neighbors with my awesome sound system... :D

But, on occasion, when I break out my X2010 for some racing around Cape Ring, you will need an epic music track in place to get yourself pumped... 👍
 
I listen to Monster done by Skillet, & the remixes of the song, You'll be under my wheels done by the prodigy & the remixes of that song to. engines sounds bore me out after a while. :rolleyes:
 
i play alot of metal songs, some 80's hair and power, lots of newer power metal, and a few other metal genres
i do play a few other rock songs, but that about sums it up
 
I'm also on the "no music" list, only the actual race sounds but sometimes, specially on the time trials and seasonals, I listen to "Bodies" by Drowning Pool and "Fight Fire With Fire" by Metallica...

And when I'm in the mood I play Red Hot Chilli Peppers "Otherside"... Cool cruising song...!
 
I've got pendulum - immersion at the moment, really amazing album! Keeps me sane while trying to shave off the time in the tts :)

I recently remembered to get this song that I used to have because of ProStreet (:indiff: ProStreet)


Listening to most Rock, if it's loud or chaotic, completely throws me off so I have close to no Rock songs playing on the Custom BGM, not even on the menu.


Baby (Breakbot Remix) and Just One Second (Apex Remix) from GT5 are in my Custom BGM.

I find music while driving to be distracting and prefer just engine sound, but in the old days when I was running the 24 hour A-spec enduros in GT4, I used to listen to Wagner's Ring cycle.

I have the Engine sound up mostly, but I prefer to have my own music playing in the background. I mean - you cant listen to some cars for hours on end without getting sick of it. Mostly Dance, Dubstep, DnB, R&B, Hip-Hop, and the ocassional Rock song keep me going :)
 
I used to have a mix of Marilyn Manson, Angelspit and KMFDM, but my little brother plays GT5 too, so I had to reset it. But then we both got sick of it, so it's a mix of The Cure, Depeche Mode and Guns 'n' Roses. It's not my favorite but it's better than the soundtrack the game came with.

Would like to add the My Chemical Romance song in the mix though...
