-when you just get home from work and do your first race on the ring. Ends up in very expensive chassis restorations.

-never get so bored you spend so many credits buying premium cars to see if they have aero kits... Why did I buy the Peugeot 307 CC Premium... X_X

-Don't think you can make a quick one handed post on GTPlanet while flying down the straight on the ring, you will die!!

Haha, i've done this to many times, also replying to a friends message on PSN while on the straight, and you think you can make it back, before the straight ends, but nope.

All from personal or someone else's experience:

-Never get angry at Bob. You never know whether you have the strength of a Super Saiyan; you might break your controller.

-Never drink Coke while playing.

-Never forget to pause the game while going for a #1 or #2.

-Never say "sorry" for hitting someone in the middle of an online race. (Not until AFTER the race)

-Never, EVER, boil water (or cook in general) and then go for an online race.

-never spend alot of money buying rally cars becuase there is no point of it !!!! :( ( i want rally events )

  • Never pass up an opportunity to laugh at B-Spec Bob's inability to pass another car
  • Never take an electric car to an Endurance race
  • Never waste hours repeatedly pressing the "X" button, just because you thought it would be cool to have all six of your B-Spec Bobs have the same last name (from personal experience)
  • Never expect GT5 to be bug-free

Peace...

These are all very hilarious.

@Nor_glish: Your post sounds serious. Good luck in court.

How did so many people fall asleep next to the wheel? :dunce:

Never start drinking, then get drunk to the point that you think it would be great to paint all your cars the same color.

But wait, you only have 3 pinks.

Solution, spend a fortune buying iMiev's for the paint color, then sell them, then paint.

Wake up poor, sick and seeing pink.

:lol::lol: LMAO! Almost been there, done that...

- Do not rest your head on your DFGT when starting up GT unless you want a skidmark on your forehead
Or lean near it and get a bit of a fright each time the game shuts down and starts up. :D

Never in a flurry of exuberance handbrake your car over the finish line when there's still one lap to go!!!!

Do NOT let your 4 Mo old Lab puppy chew up your GT5 box.

-let the wife walk in front of the tv, even though you told her 100 times not to, when racing online. going from 1st to last place in a second

she still does it now to wind me up!

:) +1 Mine does that too...!

Keeping yourself in the known universe.

Or your phone turned on.

-Never forget that there is a pause button.

Being halfway round the Nurburgring is apparently NOT a valid reason for being late to work.

Never... let your wife/girlfriend fall asleep on the sofa with her head on your lap so that you forget and smack her in the eye when you lose it on the last corner of a very close and rainy race at Suzuka...

... I mean never do that, I implore you! :scared:

Never... moan about the lack of content, how PD are letting us down and go on about how great GT4 was. ;)

Never... fantasize about your wife/girlfriend's mother during a particularly monotonous B-Spec race... ... that's a kind of general life rule as well.

Masturbate while Bob is driving.. he will only crash when you do....

Masturbate while Bob is driving.. he will only crash when you do....

Better that than him having a crafty digital knuckle-shuffle while you're driving!

Hang on, what do you do when B-Specing?!

- Don't play in a game with people you don't know, especially when you're the only one with a GTR, there will be a game of GTR bashing.

- Don't let your anybody walk in front of the TV with a DFGT, (s)he will trip over the cord and scream at you and tell you that it's your fault that (s)he didn't see the cable.

Do not constantly check and admire your lead over the opposition whilst leading the race (keep your eyes on the road)
Ooooh yes, I've been there! :ouch:

Never forget to sign out of PSN before and back up after a 24 hour race... Nothing worse than being forced to update during hour 20. No, wait, there is! Losing your save data after having done a 24 hour race is probably worse.

-when you just get home from work and do your first race on the ring. Ends up in very expensive chassis restorations.

You do know crashing a car and chassis restorations have nothing to do with eachother. Its mileage based only.

1) Don't paint a striped car, unless you don't like the stripes

2) Don't enter a TGTT lobby with a white Fiat 500...

3) On an Endurance at Nurburgring, don't think your tires would last another lap just because they was acceptable the last lap...

4) Don't tell your girlfriend that you was playing GT5 while you disappeared from any type of communication device... Trust me, don't.

5) Don't try to play guitar while you're on the main straight of Nurburgring or Le Mans...

6) Don't pause the game in the middle of a corner or in the middle of a braking

7) Don't enter a 24h race with the FGT

8) Don't continue to play when you're angry... is best for you and for your game equipment 👍

I do the head+ DFGT one but I rest my feet on the top.

Never decide to watch a YouTube video on your iPod when driving an F40 round the 'ring.

Don't start an endurance race with a controller that needs charging. Halfway through the race you will suddenly lose all control of the car and hit the wall quite hard without immediately realizing how it happened.

On a completely unrelated note, I won the 200 miles Leguna Seca Enduro today. :O

Correct, you should only use pink Fiat 500s.

Do not constantly check and admire your lead over the opposition whilst leading the race (keep your eyes on the road)

Its even worse in real life. :(

Never ever ever let your brother or sister stand in front of the tv when your racing on the like the wind daytona in an underpowered Z06 rm.

Dont start an Endurance Race when you have Gastro...
