What Phone Do You Have?

Double-tap to wake/sleep is an essential for me, I couldn't go back to a phone without it. For some strange reason though, I can't double-tap to sleep from my lockscreen - the LG G2 could do this 12 years ago, I don't know why Google hasn't enabled this. :banghead:
Ooh I remember using the knock code on my G2 mini. What a lovely device. I wish I had the chance to try the LG Wing before the demise of the business' phone department.

RIP 2021 - 2023

Google Pixel 6

On Sunday, when I went to plug in my phone to charge in the car it shut off and no longer turns on now. I think the car charger or cable somehow fried the motherboard.

I went to a Google certified repair shop and they said they can't replace the motherboard since it's no longer under warranty. I messaged Google support and they said I can send it in for a free diagnostic and quote for a repair cost, but I won't be able to recover any data since they would have to replace the entire motherboard.

Because I wasn't expecting to make a purchase at this point in time, I'm probably just gonna buy a refurbished or used Pixel 6 Pro or Pixel 7

I got the Pixel 10 Pro back in August. I picked it up at the Google Store in Mountain View. I love how it looks, but the performance has been a bit disappointing. The battery life isn't anything special either. The cameras aren't much better than the Pixel 7 I had, but it's nice to finally have a telephoto lens.

That looks like it's high-quality. Might consider buying that in the future. Idk yet, will have to do more extensive research about that particular phone.

Earlier this month, I traded my old Samsung A42 to the S25 FE. The battery was bloating, and I already had it replaced before, so didn't want to go through that again.

I picked up a refurbished iPhone 5s on the cheap about a month ago and love the thing. I got my dad's old iPhone case for free as well when he upgraded to a second-hand 6s Plus after my brother-in-law upgraded to a 7 Plus and gave it to him. It's almost overkill for my phone usage, but I love having a phone I can truly do everything with on one device instead of needing multiple to do everything.
Man oh man 8 years ago I had that phone and here I am now looking at that very phone like it's an ancient dinosaur. Boy does time certainly fly:lol:. After that, I had an XR, got a second hand 12 Pro Max, and just a couple months ago picked up a 17 Pro Max. The excitement of the new phone has already worn off since I spend half my time trying to figure out what the hell the new features even do.
