A thread to see which is the most popular series of racing, abd to get an idea of what people would want.

I'm in the process of planning out a hatchback/small car championship. Could do with some help once I've finally got everything worked out.

I'd like to see some Amatuer type Series. Sometimes it's hard, when the pro drivers just get lost in the Sunset. I have a great idea, for that type of Series. I would need maybe 3 to 5 guys to help get the series going. If your interested, PM me. I'll go from there

Yeah i love nascar and indy why someone do make thread for Nascar i am thinking about it but we have only 3 Ovall tracks :(
We could make more Oval tracks as we get our promised Course Maker feature.

MonSpaNur has the best rally championship in gtplanet but we are waiting the corse marker
Can you give me the link, please? I'm also planning to make my own WRC championship as soon Course Maker comes. But this time, you'll get a suprise in championship....

How about this Series... FiA GT1 with Production cars. PD left out a lot of great GT3 cars.
Ah, so you mean the GT3 championship, right? I'm currently making some plans while the time comes to buy a new PS3....

I think that's the name of the Series. Just use all the cars, but as Production in the Series.
I found a few cars which can be usefull to replicate the GT1 cars:
Ford GT GT1 (GT'05, GT'06 or GT LM Spec II)
Nismo GT-R GT1 (GT-R'07, Spec V'09)
Aston Martin DBR9 (DB9 Coupe'03 or '06)
Chevrolet Corvette C6R (C6 LM Race Car'06 or '09, C6 Z06 or C6 ZR1)
Lamborghini Murcielago LP670 R-SV GT1 (LP-670'09)
Mercedes CLK-GTR (in europe) or CLK-LM (in Japan?)
Mclaren F1 GTR (BMW'97, F1 GTR'95 (BM and LM) or F1'94)

I think that 2010 and 1997 should be sepparated championships.

The 1997 version will have 10-6-4-3-2-1 point system.
The 2010 version will have 25 for the winner and 1 for 10th placer. Qualiffiying for 1st is 8 points, 2nd is 6 points and 3rd is 4 points.
