Here's the original:

...& here's a great cover!

Sometimes I just let Red Dead Redemption play in the background. I also find Final Fantasy VIII soundtracks very relaxing.

Moon Duo, Sleepwalker - GTA5
Twilight Moon - GT5

Are the only 2 I have continued to listen to even after the game.

Would orchestral scores count as songs? For some games they can make or break the experience, a couple of which I listen back to every now and again, they were that good (along with making me all nostalgic :)).

Meanwhile, this is a song that I'm still not tired of revisiting (from Dirt 2);

Edit: Another one I thought I would slip in, from FIFA '03;

Driveclub has easily one of the best composed soundtracks. Hybrid killed it as always.

Another obvious mention in terms of great videogame soundtracks is the WipEout series.

Also, BlazBlue's soundtrack is METAL AS 🤬!!!

Burn My Shadow Away: Unkle used in the game Fuel.

The Bulletstorm Soundtrack by Michael Cielecki and Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz.

Portal 2: Cara Mia Addio.

...and Machiavellian Bach also:

And lastly: The Beat by Milt Buckner being the first section menu music from Battlefield Bad Company.

Whatever floats your boat mate.

My favorite in the game!

The feels...

I like the eerie vibe when going into the Depths.

Far too much music from too many games too list.

I'll occasionally give the Silent Hill soundtracks a spin in their entirety, particularly 2-4.

Jet Set Radio Future's as well.

this game, about 25 years back me and my mate playing this..love it still today, wish this would get re released on ps etc
i was still playing this last year, untill i sold my amiga.

I unofficially have a music addiction. I am someone who thinks that life without music... basically sucks. I am not the least bit ashamed to say I enjoy all kinds music- including video game music and even MIDI music. I find this question hard to answer because we're asking about game music you still listen to, and I've played a number of games which I enjoyed the musical score to. So I'll mention a few games here for this post.

* While I don't listen to my collection every day, I do from time to time listen to my MP3 recordings of songs from the Gran Turismo series. I have made a few recordings of some songs also from Tourist Trophy. Both songs from Sun Paulo ("I Against a SPEED!" and "Discommunication") are great songs.

* Almost all songs from "Ridge Racer Type 4" are great to me, excluding "The Objective" and "Burnin' Rubber." I even find myself thinking of "Movin' in Circles" when it is New Year's Eve as the old year comes to a close.

* Both Ridge Racer V and Tekken Tag Tournament were PS2 launch titles. Both games have cool music. I seemed to be mostly attracted to the beats in a lot of the songs in both games. Some of my favorites from RRV are "Euphoria," "DRFTDVL," and "Samurai Rocket" among the regular songs. From Tekken Tag Tournament's songs, I like the intro song to the PS2 version of Tekken Tag Tournament. I also like Paul's theme in TTT. King's theme is very cool also.

* Last, but not least... almost any WipEout game is worth listening to for their music, especially if you are any kind of electronic dance music fan like I am. The WipEout series almost never fails to provide great music. I certainly as a classic fan enjoy WipEout XL/2097 for its music. All-time classics in that game. Come on now- Future Sound of London, Fluke, the Prodigy... how can you argue against these?

If I were to make a lot more mentions, I'd need my own thread. Maybe even my own forum! A lot of other games would simply get honorable mentions for having one or more songs I like.

Hi John, sorry i couldn't let you answer that question, if I would have put your question here then it would have to go into the music section you see mate.
