Hi guys, my mate had just got GT5, and I was just wondering what was the absolute best car to send to him to help him on his way to GT5 greatness?

Quick answers please! I need to send before reset.

Nice choice! Any others? I'm gonna send quite a few to him. So any that you guys will think that will help him out.

Oh, an I have sent the ZZII great choice.

Something Rare but tradable -

A 1970 / 1967 ticket?
(Chaparral possibilities)

Maybe a copy of your car for the seasonals -
The Online Challenge seasonals had 6 flavours 400pp/500pp and 650pp cars and you needed to use them for a B Spec version...

So I know I would be very happy to get gifted a car that my mate had used to win with - with the set up too... with a working set up on it.

So a Lotus Esprit V8/ Ruf RGT/ Lancia Stratos tuned to that PP level would be a gift - that keeps on giving.

Great options there, I never even considered the seasonals! I have a SP1 that is an epic 550pp racer, and a NSX type R that's epic at 500pp. There the next two days sorted.

My first cars i was sent (only been playing gt5 a month) were the M3 '07 which is a great car to learn the game with i thought, and the amuse GT1 s2000 which was a tad loony for a noob tbh. :).
I would also advise him to shell out 79p on the honda HSV from the playstation store, thats an amazing car.

You could also go through the list of events and see what events need special cars, such as the Nascar, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Mini Cooper, etc. and send him a nice one based on that. If he has a few of those, the money he will save by not having to buy each of those would allow him to buy some nicer cars more quickly.

An even cheaper way, would be to share your cars with him, and then you can both save money. ;)

I'd definitely send him a good tuned Corvette ZR1 RM, he can enter many races with it and it's mostly many times faster than its opponents. It's not even expensive.
Although that could also be a reason to not send it.

I'll stick to premium cars so they are all instantly attainable if you don't have them already

Any NASCAR
Corvette ZR1 (race modified)
Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo
One of the SuperGT cars
One of the WRC 2008 cars
Lamborghini Gallardo
Suzuki Cappucino (race modified)
Mazda Roadster RS (not terribly fast, but very useful for a lot of races, and required for a few)

You dont have to send anything, he can borrow like 6 cars of you to race with, to earn his money and buy his own cars. Just put 6 different cars for borrow...!

I'd say the X2010 (or X2011) as well. - It would certainly help your friend out. To bad it can't be traded, and has to be borrowed.

👍

This is what I send to new drivers.

Also, put key cars up for them to borrow and get them to put their b spec drivers up too.

Calsonic Impul GT-R. Very easy to drive fast. AND it sounds like a real racing car should IMHO.

Thinking outside of the box:

A Mazda 110S (either one) qualifies for a surprising number of the races that have specific restrictions. It was made before 1969, it's Japanese, it weighs under 900 kg, it's FR, etc. etc.

It's a cheap way to enter (& win) a lot of races, especially at the start of the game.

Corvette RM.

Ferrari F40.

Pick-up Truck on any kind.

FF of any kind. (Honda Integra or Civic)

Impress or Evo of any kind.

Level 23 ticket

Level 24 ticket
