The question is simple: With which view are you driving? :)

I use the 'roof cam'.

In GT4, I used the 'bumper cam'... but I found that the roof one gives a better field of view. And since I'm not using a wheel for this PSP version of Gran Turismo, I'm less concerned about using the most realistic view. In GT5, I'll most likely go back to using the bumper cam unless, of course, they have a camera that is placed on the hood of the car.

I use the cockpit view unless it restricts my vision too much, then I use the bumper cam.

I sometimes use the behind the car view if I want to listen to the car as well.

i start TAC with bumper than i ask same q and after some races i change to roof view

I switch from time to time. But mostly I use the chase cam.

Cockpit cam in GT psp restricts way too much due to the low resolution of the screen.

I disagree, I think the cockpit view is perfectly usable. The movement of the cockpit, independant of the the camera, helps give the sensation of bumps in the road, and the sense of speed is much greater too, which makes the slow cars actually tolerable. With bumper cam you hardly feel like you're moving if you drive anything less than a Supra

I got used to drive with bumper cam since i remember. It gives me good feeling of the track :) Maybe i try to drive a few laps with roof view today at evening... Thanks all for your opinions

Always the Bumper view. I can see how the car is swevring and I can see how the back of the car looks too. Perhaps to look the spoiler.

Only once I used the cockpit view for driving the old volkswagen beetle.

Roof cam, but for those open cockpit LMP's, cockpit view.

Looking on the back of the car with bumper view? O_o Isn't it chase cam?

As said I am a changer. So now I went back to cockpit view. And you know what, I like it. It does narrow my choice of cars down though. Some are just undrivable due to the fact that you see not enough environment.

Oh wait a minute i thought bumper was back bumper. Yeah I mean Chase cam sorry!

I'm religious when it comes to the roof view, and will only switch to the bumper view if I'm not satisfied with my times. It seems that I just need to see in front of me, otherwise I become distracted at the wrong times. Every time I use chase cam, I automatically find myself in the wall. And don't get me started on bankings with it. :yuck:

boobie view ;) na have been using bumper for quite some time

Switched to bumper view again. Shame that you do not know what car you are driving after a pause of some hours. But it is the best view.

Switched to chase came again. Love that view for looking at the cars. But also to get a better view of the upcoming roads.

And for golding the Challenges i use the Roof Cam.

I've tried some laps with roof cam but i was slower than when i've used bumper cam... I don't have the feeling of the track and usualy end up with my face in the gravel :(

i use cockpit view even though its a little restricting it feels more fun for me to drive that way and a bit more challenging especially when drifting. :)

I use bumper view for all my past GT games. But in this PSP game, i actually love the chase cam. I dont know why. Must be because I really like looking at their rears. But I must admit I'm a better driver when using bumper view. Come to think of it, I might switch back to bumper after posting this reply.

I prefer the chase cam. I like to see all of my car when I race, instead of part or none. The other views make me feel kinda blind, even though two have 'mirrors.' Though I will admit, when I'm having some trouble, bumper cam helps. Keeps me focused on the road.

I'm using Chase Cam. I've grown up playing Grand Theft Auto, and the car camera is always set to 'chase' there, by default. I'm used to chase cam since those years, but feel myself pretty comfortable with other camera views, too.

I've found that the chase cam is quite a bit better than it was in GT4, but I still tend to use the cockpit view a bit more than the chase cam for most cars/tracks.
