I like the bumper cam because I find it to be the most realistic. (Still unrealistic because the car is invisible and im not counting cockpit because IMO the implementation is very poor. Horrible visibility.) However I can always get faster times using the chase cam since I can see the sides of the car. Therefore, I usually end up using that view.

It would be great if they could come up with a realistic view a la cockpit or bumper cam but where your visibility of your car's size is as good as real life. Perhaps just cockpit view with head turning capability would accomplish this.

A cockpit cam on a game will be tough until they can track your head and eye movements. What driver just looks straight?

I started out using the roof cam, but switched to bumper cam after seeing some youtube videos of past live GT academy events where a lot of guys seem to use it. It feels faster, but I'm not exactly sure if it is.

Before the academy started I mainly used the hood/roof cam, however, I've been more successful with the bumper cam in the Academy. I've also tried different views to see if the perspective aids in my driving style or worsens it...it's kinda like being superstitious.

I'll be using cockpit unless it really does manage to hamper my ability to run good laps, but that's where I'm comfy.

cockpit all day!! Will think about going to bumpercam as It's what i've used since GT1 and I know I might/probably could lap slightly faster, but I like the immersion factor from actually being inside the car.

I thought the bumper cam was the one where you SEE the bumper...

But after watching youtube I saw that is the one where you do not see anything of the car. Yeah, in my opinion, the best cam since it is the cleanest to drive.

well i just tried the bumper cam and at first didnt like it but once i got used to it I like it better. Its easier to tell exactly where the car is compared to the roof cam
