That just tells you you're not being smooth enough.
DFGT is an awesome wheel.
I highly recommend it.
Best gaming purchase of my life.

Smooth or not the dfgt is a much more noisy wheel, the end.

I agree, I bought the DFGT right when I bought GT5, I had never played any of the other GT games, but I read the reviews that it was a much better experience with the wheel. I didn't find it hard to get use to buy using it right from the start, the $130 investment was well worth it.

If you have the money get the G27...
  • It is almost silent
  • Metal pedals - more durable
  • Very realistic feel
  • Leather steering wheel

If I had the money spare I would get the g27 but everyone says dfgt is very good so that's what I'm gonna get, thanks for all the input peoples, happy racing

I'm not going overboard on price like the g27 and didnt realise how much the dfgt are either but it seems the best one to get out of the two, I take it there's no other alternatives?

I've had a DFGT since the end of 2009 and it's definitely a great choice.
I had one die though, refused to calibrate but this was replaced under warranty but my second is still doing fine. It's rattling a little more lately after doing the GT5 rallying which shakes it pretty hard (I think excessive shaking from F1CE may have played a part in my previous problem) but it is still great for the price. And I'd consider buying another if this died and I didn't have the money to upgrade to what I see as the next level of quality.
I also have the Hyperdrive seat which makes a very good value cockpit setup (I didn't pay full retail for the seat it was only $100 since I got a deal).

I have a Driving Force GT and I've had it for 6 months and it's been working like new for that amount of time and game.co.uk do it for £79.99.

Your right new £79.99 in game but I been looking on eBay and second hand there going for about the same price ... Confused!

Yep. £79.99 brand new at game.co.uk with free delivery! It will be back in stock in 2-3 days so I'd would be quite quick because it sells very quickly!

DFGT is a very good wheel for the price. I bought mine a couple weeks ago from Provantage for $109.

Best bang for the buck I'd go with a DFGT(which I did) but if you just want the very best, go with a G27.

Might have to mod the pedals on DFGT as they are terrible. There is no feel or resistance for the brake pedal.

I wouldn't say there is "no feel or resistance", but there is very little if you are wearing shoes. I play mine in socks and can feel the pedals just fine. If anything, one can do the "stress ball" or "bungee cord" mod for the brake pedal.
