What features would make GT4 the perfect game for YOU? For me it would be...

- Editable skidpad/auto-x track. I'd love to be able to set up small complex courses to drift and race on.

- More tuner cars from both racing and drifting firms.

- More parts and more detailed modifying. I'd like to see some chassis reinforcement parts and more realistic weight reduction. Not just Stage 1, 2, and 3. In real life, you don't say I did a Stage 2 weight reduction on my car. You'd say something like, I removed the interior and took out the A/C and radio.

- Visible modifications. I'd like to see intercoolers, roll cages/bars, exhausts, etc. I'd also love to see aero parts and carbon fiber parts as well.

- Paint editor. Stock colors get boring after a while. I'd like my car to stand out a bit. Maybe even add some custom graphics to our cars.

- Drifting Competitions. The best way I can think of making this work is a points system similar to PGR2, but less ****ty.

- Race teams. I tihnk it's be sweet to have multiple cars competing on the same team that you create. For example, like in WRC, drivers signed with the same manufacturer are teammates. I think it's be cool to set up and manage your own team.

- More technical tracks. I love small tight tracks.

- New updatable cars. Being able to download new cars using the network adapter and hard drive.

- New updatable tracks. Same concept as the new cars.

- Licensed parts

- Realistic crash physics and damage model. When I **** up, I wanna know it! I WANT to mess up my cars. Hitting a wall at 120mph and driving away unscratched is just unacceptable.

- Mechanical failures. Cars aren't bullitproof and are bound to break eventually.

- Engine damage. Slamming the throttle off the rev limiter can't be good for an engine. In fact, I don't tihnk there should even be a rev limiter unless you buy one with you can adjust yourself.

- Overheating engines. Engines get hot, and they should in GT4 too. Cooling parts should be available.

Well, I think I'm spent for now. I'll defiantely update once I think of more.

I think you've covered everything, erm let me just think a min.

More racing styles, you mentioned drift competitions, also drag racing, Ice races, return of the hill climb races but with more than 1 track, rally cross and point to point rally races, more manufacturere events but unlike GT2's make them series races instead of 1 race on a random track. Hiring a pit crew would add an extra level, as you progress you can hire new members of your pit crew who can refuel or change tyre's a bit quicker, hire them on a 100 or 200 day contract or somthing like that. And finally, an expandable garage, once your garage is full you should be given the option to allow you to use more space on your memory card and hold more cars in it.

I'd love to have small courses on it too. Something like Mobara Twin Circuit's East Loop would be great. Man, that would be awesome. Making it editable will also give it more replay value for me (like GT4 would really need that, hehe). I'd be playing it regardless. :)

i have a ? where do u get a PS2 Hard Drive and for how much...

Big parking lot and 100 cones to place wherever you want.

Brake fading

A big uncleared parking lot with a half-foot of snow on it. Maybe a lightpost or two...

Bigger grids and fields.
And I want the return of the the LM national races (like in GT - America vs UK races).

I'd like to see in licence tests parking things. Like you have to use the e-brake to get between two cars, like what i've seen in top gear with those grannies.

If i can think of more things, i'll say it.

The polyphony digital have really got to watch at this topic.
If they do this all, the game gets twice or more better.:D

I'd just say a bunch of mini game type things, like one time only track days like in TOCA, or some more satisfying engine sounds, its annoying when a cobra sounds like a celica. I want my throaty engine sounds!! thats what you pay for when you buy a 500000 credit cobra!
OH- AND MOST OF ALL-
The opening and final movies for all the gran turismos have been top notch and some of the best ever to grace the gaming industry. So itd be nice to see some more at different completion points

More races. I'm thinking of the GT2 single make races for every second car:D

Just thought of another one.

- A JUNKYARD! This is definately for the budget racer. Here's how I invision it.

Buy a rolling shell... Let's say, and R32 GT-R. Buy a crate engine, roll-cage, replace suspension, then pay repairs to make the cars appearance like new. Break a part while racing? Head over to the junk yard and see what's floating around. All of course at discounted prices and weaker strength. For example, a part from the junkyards would be more prone to breaking as opposed to a part bought from the tuning shop.

Perfect for me?

GT3 Quality (Improved with the Graphics seen in the Screenshots) with the following additions:

Used Cars (lots) from ALL Nationallities (especially US and Europe).

&

Lots of American V8 and V6 Power, both Classic Muscle and Modern Power. Dodge Charger 1970 and Dodge Charger Concept 1999 and Dodge Magnum SRT-8 Concept 2003. Ford Taurus SHO. Chevy Impala SS. Mustangs (old and new). Vettes (old and New). Vipers (old and New). Camaros, Stealths, Challengers, Crown Vics, Intrepids. Lots of US cars.

You can have your 30 generations of Lancer as long as I get one Intrepid and a few Magnums, Mustangs, Challengers and Chargers.

Blackfish

So you think it should be realistic damage then, eh? - Well then how about stop hitting walls because in real life there would be not much of a car left.

What I want, is the Renault Espace F1.

A realistic speedo, instead of telling you the actual speed, it tells you what speed the wheels are going, like in real life, just to add to some realism. Also more varied upgrading of cars, instead of just buying everything for every car, wise upgrade choices to get the best result would be better. Having hp limits on races again and an Events generator both from GT2.

Perfect, why a V8 supercars series of course. Holden VS Ford series in this game woul be fantastic to me...id do that series alot

Would also love to see more used cars, i hated GT2 only having used japanese cars.

Most other stuff has already been covered.

Yeah, that would be a great series. but only Austalian car's should be able to enter becaus eit would make the series less fun.

I would also like to see bathurst, eastern creek, adelaide street corse(Long version from the F1 series and the 24 hour race and the short one), a place where you can change your paint job, Track editor, a Le man's series with endurance races, another F1 series, mini series, 2 player with other car's on track and the choice to do over 99 laps!:)

Better replay options, more cameracontrol, more cameras, forward / rewind, Slowmo, pause, speed up (to get to the cool parts obviously)...

I'd like to see a couple of different V8 supercars. Seemed kinda silly just having the AU Falcon with no other cars to race against. It would be cool to see a mix of AU and BA falcons mix it up with a collection of VT, VX and VY holdens (i can dream can't i) because the 'official' V8 supercars game isn't very good.

A few of the road going versions would be cool too. Maybe even some of those 'BRute' race cars too (now i'm really dreaming)

Great idea! 👍

Playback controls would be awesome. :)

I guess long Point to point tracks say, a gran tour of Italy or the Auto Bhaun(spelling?) or open country roads and a long desert trough the red canyons. boring to drive but wonderful to watch in replays.

1. drag races
2. skidmarks

thats all :)

oh and BIGGER test-track for top speed runs :D

Its release.

Definitely more control of replay especially the option to skip laps

Downhill Touge racing
Drag racing

More technical customization ( Tire & Rim sizes and tire PSI)
Descriptive parts like turbos, brakes, etc
Engine backfire (I thought that was so cool in PGR2)

all top manufactures Ferrari:(

Oh and morning, day, evening, night time lighting for all the tracks maybe even rain but w/ the option of turning it off

:)

For me, that would also be the obvious answer!

I want Driver style movie maker mode for the replays. I want loads of effects, camera types/ lenses, movement panning options etc etc etc.
And I want it in GT4. Now. :)

I just think it would be so cool, would keep me entertained for hours.

And fricking reverse lights, damage, skid marks, interiors, and a driver inside :)

There's already a driver inside, but it's black so you can't see it well.

I know something with this!

Customizeable drivers!!! Like you're in the car yourself!:)

And the camera behind the steer should be fine too!:D

The driver is a featurless black blob. That just doesn't cut it imo.

I would like to have an actual, walkthroughable(?), detailed car dealership that you can go to when your shopping for your next medal winner. If youve played proj got-ham 2 then you know whut i m talkin about.
