I reckon GT4 would be better with a track that goes all over town like it start's in the city then goes in to the suburb's then you get to the country and come back along the coast. It would be a cool track, it would be long so that would make it funner.

Monster trucks!

Adjustable turbo boost, tyre blow outs would be cool (As mentioned earlier), and for gods sake, longer lasting tyres in the enduros.

It would be perfect if they made the 2hr Rome longer.....say 4hr
and instead of "regular" cars I want them to put in these six cars in the race!!:D
1:Bentley Exp8 -01
2:Audi R8C -99
3:Toyota TS020 GT-one -98 (nicer pianting than -99 model)
4:Nisan R390 GT1 -98
5:Mercedes CLK LM -98
6:Porsche 911 GT1 -98

that list may be fumiliar to some......

And could we have some real expensive luxury cars, so we can just sit in the back and watch the driver fly around the circuit?

What would make gt4 perfect for me....?? FOR THE F%#$ game to *** out damnit

That list is very familiar, but I don't want longer races than 2hr's, but if thats what would make the game perfect for you who can complain in this thread.

What would make GT4 perfect for me you ask?

Im not too fussy, but i would really like to see more effort put into sounds, especially turbo spooling and blow off sounds. I mean you can hardly hear the BOV in GT3 whilst your in the car and whats worst is you cant hear it at all when you are outside the car watching your replays!!!

For some people this is not all that important but i love turbo cars and their sound really makes me go all car crazy.:D

Oh yeah, and some V8 cars can sound more beefy too.

Small details:
1)More engine noises(you all know what I'm talking about)
2) Blow-by
3) More overall movement in the car.( Exaust shakes, that whole type of thing)

Here is a weird idea I had. What about having go-kart tracks to be raced on by rally cars or for drifters. I don't think drifting is going to be possible, but it would appeal to the non-professional racer. The go-kart tracks can be used for rally racers to test their slip-slide cars. Then you can do like American short trackers and cover the track in dirt, to help aid in opposite lock (if my rally terms are correct). With this idea, this will give American dirt track racers a run for their money.

I have another idea, but I might talk about it in another thread.

Drifters do use go-kart tracks. In fact, on March 27th there's gonna be a DG Trials event held on a go-kart track at Beaver Run. They're also having another event on a go-kart track in Florida.

You know, when you make a comparison, there is the probability of someone saying "is that $&*($&#( crazy?"

Like I said, what's perfect for one person won't be perfect for another. For example, if one guy wanted a tricked out Honda Accord with Tila Nguyen gracing it, that would make one person happy. However, one person would like a Harley motorcycle next to a Harley-Davidson edition Ford F-150 with American flags. One other person (like me, maybe) would like seeing a picture of the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. You know, all those beautiful LMPs and GT cars before they scrap for position.

So what's perfect for one person may not be perfect for everyone. I mean, if a girl wanted to have a pink VW New Beetle all GT-racy looking, that would disappoint a guy wanting a BEAUTIFUL 1963 Corvette matched up with 1964 1/2 Mustang going down the highway. So from a not-so-expert analysis (I don't like bragging online), the key for Kazunori Yamauchi and his merry men and women, Polyphony Digital, is to accomodate the tastes of many would-be Gran Turismo fans. Because all racers are different in taste and ability. So I don't think Outlaw Cars at Eldora Speedway, for example, would be good for GT. Now sure, maybe for personal tastes, but maybe not GT. It would, however, be interesting how they would do on REAL dirt tracks.

So, with all these ideas, it's all about making them work. And work efficientely. That's pretty tough, but it is all rewarding at day's end.

Old 80's , early 90's litre cars (Micra Super turbo , toyota starlet ) and sport cars (fc , ae86 , mazda 323 GT-x).
It wouldn't be to bad either if it where a drift mode where you create your'e own team and race against D1 GP teams , and then unlock them !;)
And not to forget : The Gixxerkart . To burn trough the corners like they do in the movie is mean :trouble:

Better sounds. I like the idea of having that turbo "chirp" that you hear in real rally racing. I would like to have louder car sounds when watching the replay. Real life cars are louder than **** going around a track.

Since we've waited this long, I want no bugs in this game. Before, I wanted the game as soon as possible, but I've changed my mind.

I would like to see more prizes, like parts for cars. Perhaps, getting new "sponsors" giving you free parts the more races you win. And a parts bin in your garage to keep them in.

A garage that looks like a garage, and not some stupid list. How about being able to work on your car in the garage to prepare it for a certain race you would like to enter. If there are HP restricted races in GT4, like there was in GT2, then this should really come in handy. It was such a pain in the ass to enter one race, just to change the HP on your car, so you can enter it in the race you wanted to enter in the first place.

Instead of just parts, how about the idea of swapping entire engines. Say, you want to put a 289 Ford V-8 in a Honda Civic, for example. You can do this in real life, so why not in the game? True, the cars should have the same parts for racing competitions for in class races, but maybe the option to enter other races with your "homemade" race cars. Or, the ability to put either a turbo or supercharger in any car you want.

How about a team manager that you can hire for setting up your race cars for you, for each individual race. Of course, you can change anything he does that you don't like.

Along with all that, race car mods for every car would just be fantastic, for me. But, reality has to set in and I know this is not possible. But, I want as many has possible.

Getting GT4 for free doesn't sound half bad, either!

not that ID is simulation-level realistic, far from it.. but name one arcade game with more realism than Initial D: Arcade Stage.

F355 Challenge, but back on topic...

Well, we had rain, sort of, but snow would be nice. Or did you mean in real time?

ok you got me... but it's not really that common. i've only ever seen 2 machines in sydney (australia) for it and it doesn't get nearly as much use as ID.

plus, it's boring. BORING!! give me F355 with mountain passes and i'll think about it... but so far i don't count your answer! :)

I hope they'll include the Jaguar S-type R as they did in GTC, but I hope they make it handle properly, as the real car handles very well, I know as I drove one today.

Stuff id like to see in GT4 and further Gt's and why

Superchargers - Its a bit dodge that the only type of forced induction you can get is turbo. Later on they can modify this further by having different typed of supercharger (Eaton, Centrifical, Roots etc.) and the ability to mix and match with turbos for a no lag high power beast.
Drag Racing - With certain events for drivetrain and Engine Types (NA, Turbo, 4 cylinder, Rotary etc.)
Bodykits - What type of Supra does 400KMH with a standard bodykit without causing lift to flip the car over and kill the driver?!?
So youd want the ability for a tough street kit as well as a drag kit with kigh speed rear diffuser and other parts for high speed driving.
0 to 300KPH Sprint - This isnt as important as dragging but this is still a fun style of race as you want a car that can get to 300 as fast as possible.
More Australian Cars - How much fun is it when you live in australia with only one car to pick from. Not that much fun believe me.
UK vs. US (or any other country for that matter) - Races which piut one countries cars versus the other and you can only run cars from those countries.

Now concering the Ferrari thing. As the head of PD put it so simply, Ferrari's costs for the rights to using their cars are quite high so the company isnt going there just yet. and If you put in Ferrari you gotta put in Koineg cause they tune Ferraris to make them go even faster. But it would be cool to have a Italian Series with Ferrari, Lambourghini and Panoz as well as many other manufacturers that i havent thought of.

Thats my opion on the whole thing.

The One thing i forgot

Having the ability to choose the companies that your parts are. For example the opportunity to select your turbo such as HKS, Trust, etc or your exaust like in NFSU but with more realism such as a selection of different turbos with different power outputs and spool time. You could do this for many parts but turbos are the easiest to explain thats why i focused on them in particular,

What would make GT4 pefect for me, having it in my hands right now playing it... there said and done..

- Editable skidpad/auto-x track. I'd love to be able to set up small complex courses to drift and race on.

- More tuner cars from both racing and drifting firms.

- More parts and more detailed modifying. I'd like to see some chassis reinforcement parts and more realistic weight reduction. Not just Stage 1, 2, and 3. In real life, you don't say I did a Stage 2 weight reduction on my car. You'd say something like, I removed the interior and took out the A/C and radio.

- Visible modifications. I'd like to see intercoolers, roll cages/bars, exhausts, etc. I'd also love to see aero parts and carbon fiber parts as well.

- Paint editor. Stock colors get boring after a while. I'd like my car to stand out a bit. Maybe even add some custom graphics to our cars.

- Drifting Competitions. The best way I can think of making this work is a points system similar to PGR2, but less ****ty.

- Race teams. I tihnk it's be sweet to have multiple cars competing on the same team that you create. For example, like in WRC, drivers signed with the same manufacturer are teammates. I think it's be cool to set up and manage your own team.

- More technical tracks. I love small tight tracks.

- New updatable cars. Being able to download new cars using the network adapter and hard drive.

- New updatable tracks. Same concept as the new cars.

- Licensed parts

- Realistic crash physics and damage model. When I **** up, I wanna know it! I WANT to mess up my cars. Hitting a wall at 120mph and driving away unscratched is just unacceptable.

- Mechanical failures. Cars aren't bullitproof and are bound to break eventually.

- Engine damage. Slamming the throttle off the rev limiter can't be good for an engine. In fact, I don't tihnk there should even be a rev limiter unless you buy one with you can adjust yourself.

- Overheating engines. Engines get hot, and they should in GT4 too. Cooling parts should be available.

Well, I think I'm spent for now. I'll defiantely update once I think of more.

All has been covered there for me. Aswell as superchargers and more realistic mods with brands etc etc.

AND MORE EURO CARS!!!

Must....have.........BMW.....................

For me it would have to be some more Grand Prix F1 cars, The six from gt3 as well some more from the 60s and 70s and with real sponsers, I would also like to so some old endurance racers from the 60, 70s and 80s to, Some real tracks past and present, Like the old imola and silverstone as well as the osterreichring,

better sounds are a must, and some decent AI That trys to race u. Adjustible turbo boost would be good, That effect fuel used more boost used more fuel used.

1- Better sound, a lot of better
2- Quality sponsors with real parts
3- Maybe a best sense of speed
4- Renault Clio Williams!!:D
