It depends on how you want to enjoy B-Spec. If you want a challenge, put your driver in a car with somewhat equal performance to the competition. If you want to push a button and walk away so you can do other things (food, laundry, old lady), then put your driver in the fastest car you have in your garage.

Seriously though, who does B-spec for a challenge, You aren't doing it, why bother wasting the chance at getting that reward car sooner.

Some people in a thread laying around here claim to do B-Spec for the challenge, because it's fun. Different strokes for different folks.
