whats gear better in a acr

I have been tunnin for awhile an i just cant get my acr to go over 9.000 an i was just wondering if there was a different gear that will get me in the 8s im starting in 2nd now any suggestions

Hmmm.. Be risky and try work out a first gear launch... OR... stick with the 2nd gear launch... Trust me bro.. Your not the first to encounter this conundrum

Haha just don't stop trying 👍 I would try out a first gear launch.. Like save your current tune onto sheet C then start sheet B as your gear 1 launch.. You may only use 5 gear but your accel up to 60 "should" be better... If you can work it out.. And I'd imagine once you get a faster 0-60 time.. The rest should follow

2nd is favored by many of the pro's. Manual is better. I have not seen many faster times that yours.

Lol viper some of the guys i know thats on gt5dragracing they would laugh at you trust me they did me those guys are running all in the 890s an they think that 9s are beggeniers

Mine runs 9 dead but beat plenty of guys in the 8's. If you're under 9 seconds, odds are you timed your revs just right to get a good launch.

Short shift whats ur psn tag an people i run consistently runs 8s when u r for away from the 9s u dont have to worry i run 8.997 all day sometimes faster

Very harsh There are only five times sub 9 sec on the leader board and regardless, they aren’t the type of guys that would be laughing at anyone's times 👍

exactly why i need to work on this. ive been working my GTS recently. she's doing 9.15s at the moment but i can still squeeze a last few droplets of hp out of her

none was i just checked the leaderboards and am 0.03 off the top, 0.02 for GTS, and my R34 could be very close

No they wouldn't laugh. Everyone has different abitilies. Like Short said, odds are they times the revs just righted because with the same tune I've cut nearly a second off my times.

You can't submit times anyway unless the leaderboard isn't full yet or you are in the top 5 if it is. Which reminds me to tell you it needs severe updating.

not true bro, you can sumbit all the times you want, the top 6 cars will have places for 15, and the rest for top 10, we are just waiting on people to submit times.

also the leader board doesn't get updated daily. It gets updated 3 times a week.

I been up all day tuning a 99 GTS Viper. I now have a good running, drag worthy Viper. Thanks to Kenny Blanco, Matt, and Slash an for the advice.

OHHHH, took my ACR, shortened the gears and did a 8.846sec, with SRF on, after only 5min!!!
OMG!!!!
