whats the AWD that has the most hp besides the escudo?

i just want a fast car for drifting and the highest ive got is about ~500hp? i would use the escudo, but even with super softs, the tires still smoke in 6th gear... help would be greatly appreciated

Now regarding the question...

The nissan skyline Nismo R tuned R34 is capable of 900+ hp.
The fto and zz2 are both high hp (over 900).

Then there is one other that I doubt any one would mention.
It is relatively cheap, which also means you can buy it through the dealer.
Which car is that?
The mitsu 3000 gt (maybe it's called the gto).

In any case, there are 2 mitsu 3000 gt cars in the game. One is capable of over 1000hp, but the other is not.

Just go buy one, tune it to the max and if it doesn't get over 1000hp with a stage 4 turbo then you bought the wrong one... So make sure you don't save after buying it (not until after you have tuned it).

If you buy the wrong one just reload your game and buy the other.

I'm sure you will like that mitsu for what you are doing. 👍

He's looking for settings for the GTO, not the Escudo. Those you can probably find in the drift setting depot over in the drift forum (which is probably why this thread started over there). It's linked in NK4E's sig, too. As far as car choice goes, I'll second the ZZII suggestion. Throw a Skyline or two in there also. But as far as purpose goes, you certainly don't need 1000 hp to drift. Try changing the tires instead of the hp number. It does wonders.

The ZZII is the best because it has the handleing of a racecar with the launch of an all wheel drive. I am sure if you tuned a skyline, gto, and a ZZII, the ZZII would school all of the others.

Ha! I was thinking the same thing, though the CTR2 doesn't make that great of a drift car. Race drift yes, style drift no. Like all the RUFs it is too grippy for most people to controllably slide, at least just starting out.

The RGT is a better drift car, but is RR so out of discussion for this.

A stock Skyline R34 with normal tires will "drift" all you like. You don't need 500hp to drift. 300hp for most cars that don't weigh a ton is fine, overkill even. The Skyline R34 you can buy in the dealer will go 500hp+, the nismo(s) and m-tune R34s will go much higher. I'd start here.

The EVOs make nice AWD drift cars, as they can easily be tuned to have massive oversteer.

Drifting with a AWD car is fun. I don't know if I would consider it really drifting, it is more sliding around...but you can get the backend way out on a AWD car while still having the front wheels pull you forward. Great fun, especially for race drifting!

Fully tuned Toyota Supra RZ or Skyline GT-R R34 V-Spec II if you want something to buy. If you want to go with a bonus car, the Nismo 400R will have ~800 HP after full tuning (I haven't used mine yet, and it'll be at 802 HP without any oil changes or anything).
