The Opel Astra Touring Car! This car is awesome. It is one of the smoothest cars in GT4 and GT3. It also has the best brakes in the game. With all the different touring cars you have to choose from it is easy to overlook. Take it for a spin and enjoy!

the fastest car in the game is a VW W12 nardo concept if its fully tuned it can go to 454 km/h in the 4 fitesse so i calculated to the 6th and it goe's to 675.95

my opinion of a best road car is Tommykaira ZZ-II.. with over 900 bhp and almost F1-like handling it's the best one.. and fast too, thanks to awd. :dopey:

i was doing the citcuit de la sarthe 24h, and the audi r8 and playstation car(forgot how to spell it) pitted at the same times but the r8 won by thousands of feet.
i guess it could be the drivers.

MadDogDrifter
the best car gotta be the F1! no other car can match that car....well that's if i'm driving it

i agree, other cars may look cool or have colorful decals and a nice body but for all out performance, the f1 is the car to beat 👍
plus it also looks pretty cool (all black100%)

well the best car for the fastest laptimes is the F1 ofcourse, but for me the best car is more about how much fun it is to drive, so i give my oppinion from this perspective.

Best Cars for me:

-Tommy Kaira ZZ-ll (slightly modified Duck7892 setup, qualifying tires)

I love the handling on the ZZ-ll, it has a very predictable and different way of handling, the power comes out so sweet and its bloody fast with 900+ HP. When exiting corners, u really have to get the perfect line, open up the trottle very gentle(if not, u run wide instantly) and give more and more of those 900 horsepowers to the tarmac. When u do this the right way, u exit turns perfectly on the rumble-strips every time! Its got a lack of grip when braking so i use qualifying tires.

-Opel Astra Touring Car (My own Setup)

Its the perfect handling rear wheel driven car for me. PERFECT HANDLING, superb brakes and grip, not overpowered, the 811 hp is just right with the right gear ratios. And it holds his line perfectly, even when u brake from high speed into a slow corner when cornering already. VERY predictable and sweet car, ULTRA-stable at 300+ speeds. Almost too clean :). I will post my setup later.

-Suzuki GSX-R/4 (My own Setup)

I love the high revving engine sound, the sweet handling and the loads of grip! i actually ride it with hard tires and half downforce. very neutral riding and good for pushing on slower tracks like city di aria and cote d'azur. Deep forest rules with it aswell.

-Nissan R92CP (Duck7892 Setup)

Very nice handling supercar, Sweet ride. Bit too fast tho, so i only ride it when i really want sick speed 👍

-Renault Clio V6 24V (Duck7892 Setup)

Very nice "slow" car, good for pushing on slow tracks! really sweet handling and not at all frustrating to drive. Good for rookies who want to learn how to race!

This is only a small selection of my favorite cars ofcourse.

Do the 24hr Nurburgring Nord and get the Formula one Polyphony digital
OR
Get 4,500,000Cr. and buy the Playstation Pescarolo 2004, and then put a stage 4 turbo in it!
It is v.good!!! :)

Sorry Savan01 but I have to argue there and say that the Audi R8 is a better car than the Pescarolo. Bob can drive the Pesky better than the R8, but I don't use B-Spec anyway so I do not care what Bob does :p and the R8 is much more stable at speeds. Sexier too
Don't use Stage 4. Really, don't, the LMP-1 cars are so good without it you don't want to upset the balance of them... Besides, no race really calls for it :irked: PD needed to put in better competition in a lot of the races :irked:

My favourite car is probably the R8 for overall performance and feel-good-factor :) but the Mercedes SL65 is the best for power-phreaks :sly: . Not the most enjoyable car there is, though... I'm not sure what's at the top of my list really... 💡 maybe the Honda NSX Type R (the old ones, not the new stuff) for the easy speed and handling.

u do the 24hr race at the nurburgring i heard its really hard
Nah, it's easy if you just want it out of the way the competition only drives DTM-class cars.

I'd say the Chapparal 2J race car... has pretty good tyre wear... but the best part is the 2 17" fans driven by a 45hp snowmobile engine sucking the car to the road, it has amazing cornering. But its one of those cars you have to drive yourself, cause the computer can be pretty crappy with it, definately not a begginer car... another thing is the fact that is only has 3 gears...

either way its still the best overall, espeacially considering its only $1.2 mil.

It will always depend on the Race and of course the set up on the car.

Formula GT has The Best handling in the game by far

For LM

Minolta, R8, GT-one, are all great, but really, most LM cars with the right set up will get the Job Done.

For Road cars, the Viper SRT-10, Cerbera Speed 12 & R390 Road Car are pretty quick, and have comparable lap times on most tracks.

Really the best thing to do is find a Car youve always loved to Drive, and have fun with her.

Rac3rX
Here you go

For Lm Races, I usually go R4 tires up Front and R2 tires in the Rear.
You have to be registered there to view them. Why not just post them here?

Best car in GT4?
Lotus Elan with N1 tires and 200 ballast.
It might not win a lot of races, but do I get a smile on my face after a lap of the ring.
(by the way thats good for 98 A Spec points in the World Classic Championship.)

At the moment i have several cars and can amass around 400,000 credits by winning Pan euro championship with the Audi Le Mans Quattro but for some other races im left behind.
My fastest car on the power & speed arena is around 220 mph in TVR Cerbera and have old favourites like the Gillet car from Belgium but that still doesnt help and theres a few cars ive got me eye on so whether you can give any advice on cars and how to get inc. Cadillac Cien and theres a big ass car that ive found somewhere that u hav to win with over 1000 bhp straightaway which i want to get even if its crap
p.s it looks like the Batmobile
cheers

caterham 7 fireblade. its the best handeling car and its cheap. just put on all the horsepower and weight mods except the rigidity plan and the racing chip.

like this:
racing exhaust
supercharger
racing r5 tires
stages 1,2,&3 weight reduction
engine balancing
and, port polish

around the tsukuba track, it was 6 seconds faster than a pagani zonda s

Personal favourite of mine is probably the Bentley Speed 8
Mainly because it's a British car and I'm a British person.
That plus the fact it's fast considring the power it has, at Stock, it has under 700BHP (from what I remember from the top of my head) but it can hit 230MPH, has great handling, pretty decent tire wear and nice acceleration and breaking statistics.
when you tune the Bentley it's over 1000BPH, the speed and acceleration is even better, grip and handling are still good. the only difference is, the breaks dont maintian the strength in comparison to the power the tuning gives.

I have ran in to something funny in thr past couple of days, i found a car in the used car sectio( i forget wich one it is) but is was called AE86 trueno ( some Japanese dudes name-can spell it or remember it- ediction) ANYWAY....it drifts really well and is ballenced
thats my personal fav just cause
If the chaperal 2J had a 6 speed insted of a damn 3 speed it would be a kick ass car, dispite the fact that it had a damn snow-mobile engine in it- i mean look at it:
624kg
1024hp(stage 4 turbo)
personal betst topspeed-
272

All of the high end race cars are incredible in power, and handling. I don't think there is any one "best". In some endurance races, a lower hp race car (Toyota GT-one) can "outlast" a higher hp car with the same tires. This is because you spin out more with higher HP cars (nissan r92).

But the easy way out of most races is the Polyphony digital F-1 car. Most of the races against Le mans style cars you can beat in b-spec with the Polyphony car.
