It comes with 900 and something...

ahhhh it warms my spirit to here people speak of the escudo thusly.......It's a complete and utter POS. I ****ing hate it.

Sir andrew, the game is not about HP.. as you will hopefully come to realize with all the GT experienced people telling you that the escudo, otherwise formally known as "the 1800 hp pile of polished turds sitting between 4 wheels" or "sorriest excuse for a performance car known to the modern world of automotive engineering" sucks. Pick a car with that can accelerate AND STEER. Dont get into pissing contests over HP.. Think about it. Many of us have explored the game to it's limits. If we wanted to we could all have the Escudo sitting in our garage collecting dust, but there's simply no need. Man that thing is a piece....

sorry guys I'm sure I will be flamed for ranting so uselessly over this but im sorry, and btw I'm not a big fan of the escudo :banghead:

but 1300+ out of the Totota GT1 race car and the Nissan R390 GT1,

1200+ out of the Zonda race car...

i think the TVR speed 12 might be up there but i havent tuned one yet.....hold on, i havent even got one yet..!!

if i can recall, the speed 12 only has the stage 1 NA tuneup (for $5,250) and that brings it from 820 hp (after oil change) to 1070 hp. Not as much as I would expect. Its hard enough to handle at stock without the NA tuneup anyways so... yeah. :rolleyes:

well , how much bhp does the escudo come with??

981 hp when you win it (I can't imagine anybody actually pays for this) ; 1 881 is its maximum when it's fully tuned and has run about 300 km. Then the power decreases to reach 1843 hp at around 1000 km.

The most powerful car in my garage is a hybrid RX-8 : just above 4000 hp. (less than one minute a lap on Test Course, ideal for the 'Like the Wind' race).

A funny one is a 3600+ Mini Cooper which reaches 600+ km/h (370 mph) but it just doesn't turn.

Speed aint evry thing, i hate zooming ahead of the slow AI so instead i keep with em, and drive carefully (relying on AI s in corners goes against the simulator principles)
to help me do this i remove stage4 and put mayb stage 2 or 3. i love me 22B and the older scooby which cocks round 569ps, i prob use these rides the most.

The most bhp ive ever had is from the escudo obviously but i use me scoobies nowadays.

22B STi is indeed a great one. I drove mine so much that I almost believe that STi stands for Severe Thumb Injury. :lol:

My highest BHP is around 5,88X,XXXbhp on my Acura Integra R and RX8.

My PT Cruiser did a 9 second lap on Test Course :p

correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't BHP mean "base horse power" ...as in, how much HP the car has STOCK?

To me B stands for British. I just don't know if there are other methods to measure power (expect the kW method).

My highest BHP is around 5,88X,XXXbhp on my Acura Integra R and RX8.

Did you post the .ini file somewhere, I'd like to understand the trick, because all my hybrids so far range from 3000 to 4000 hp.

If you look at famine's guide to hybriding, you'll see that you need to make an ini file of the car, then edit the file with wordpad or notepad. Line 440 is the power multiplier. there is a trick to it though, check it out on his guide- http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/detomaso/343/gt3hybrid.html

Okay. You're wrong.

BHP stands for "Brake (or Braking) Horse Power" - it's merely a method of determining power by using a braked wheel. BHP = HP (sort of).

Other methods are PS (Pferdenstarke - literally "horse power"), the metric unit of "horsepower" and kW.

1hp = Power required to raise 550lb through 1 foot vertically in 1s
1PS = Power required to raise 75kg through 1 metre vertically in 1s.

1hp = 0.986PS
1PS = 1.014hp
1hp = 0.746kW
1kW = 1.341hp
1kW = 0.757PS
1PS = 1.322PS

AND I officially give this the award of:

Yeh i think the max multiplier is X365 and the Integra does a 3 sec 1/4 mile ;)

No idea what a Civic LSi is, but the EG Civic SiR pushes 361hp (379hp after oil), the EK Civic Type-R hits 413hp (433hp after oil) and the Spoon Civic is 320hp (335hp after oil).

The maximum multiplier is x65.535. The quickest verified hybrid 1/4 mile (well, 400m - it's shorter) is 2.788s, but not in an Integra - and you'd have to do a LOT more than just give it 500,000hp to acheive that.

yeah the gt-one race car and the nissan R390 have the most horsepower for a controllable car...

btw, whats the most horsepower you can have on a hybrid car?
