convictkid....you may think it's hopeless when the 1st place Miata LS screams away from you...but don't worry....he pits every 3 laps because hes on T8's......in the end you should end up lapping him easily, you just havto run T2 hards and pit once at midpoint (lap 20) and you will cream the competiton

Yeah, just forget about the other cars and race the track. They won't give you any trouble, until you come up to lap them.

I had a very embarrassing moment on the Laguna Seca enduro last week... three laps to go and I've had the Oreca Viper about 4 seconds behind me for quite a while... he's all over my bumper as I was coming up on the last tight turn before the finish line and I was looking in the mirror to line up for a block, but totally missed the braking zone and flew straight ahead plowing into the wall head on at about 90 mph! By the time I got back on the track the Viper had a 9 second lead, boy was I ticked off!

Its not embarssing but some of you might have experienced it.
On Laguna Seca and Monaco (there might be others), if you dont take the right line into the pits, the computer might get you stuck on on of the walls sticking out. It hasnt heard of reverse so you just sit there watching it trying to drive through the bloody wall. All you can do is wait if it manages to free the car or restart the PS2

ANd my mate and I were doing that c*** of an enduro on Monaco which is 78 laps. On lap 72, he paused it and without noticing, accidentaly moved the thing to quit. It bought up the next menu which was "yes" or "no" and when we went to start again, he thought it was on the first menu and quit the race

the most embarraing moment in gt3 was when i called my friends over to see my new drifting skill but when they came i started out wit my 240sx and i sucked its like gave up on me and and ...........them bastard laughed at me (sigh).. but now hehhee now im betta and hell no aint gonna calll dem bak (sigh)........drifting i wonder who started out drifting hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.. o hehe kinda off topic my bad.

I was doing the route 11 endurance with the calsonic skyline just hopped up... I havent even tested it, I just bought the huge turbo, installed it and went racing. no hard tires, no nothing. I just said what the heck. As I saw I'd win with tha car, altough it had a severe problem with the LSD and the suspension (TONS of oversteer). the closest car was the damned 787B. but I say close... about 7 seconds. but my tires gave up pretty quickly. his' would last for two or three more laps, so this was a battle of strategy for pitting. ahyway, almost in the last lap, he pitted in. my error: I pitted IN too!!!! if i would just... get going, Id have won the race easily. but, oooh no... there I go -__-. after that I pased him and all. heh. a lapped Esperante appears in front of me in the exit of the last curve and stabs me into the wall. the stupid 787 pases me. its the main straight and I am JUST behind him. he won the race by 0.025. I SMACKED the damned controller on the ground and said so many bad words... bah -__-

I was in the F090/S and like I always do to finish a race where I have enough lead, spin a 360 before the finish line. . . well, I spun a 360, and hit the wall and all 5 cars passed me. . . right before the line. I know I've had some pretty bad moments. . . trying to steer the skyline gtr v-spec II R32 (not possible without e-brake), my friend lapping me in an RX-7 LM vs Impreza LM on the 3rd lap of midfield II. . . lol. good topic

I was doing the Formula 1 championship and I was on R246 and on the last lap I was 3sec ahead of a F094/S and I was a FO94/H and about 600ft from the finish line and the FO94/S passed me! It was like he got a speed boost. I was so ticked off that I have determined that I will never try that championship again.

was racing seattle enduro to see if i could get another ZZII in an attractive color this time....(funny how this topic is here right when i do something stupid)

anyway i paused the game at lap 31, pressed the input button on my remote to watch some tv while the race was paused...got a drink, grabbed some jerky...watched some tv.....

turned the tv to the input channel again and found my car sitting againts a wall in 6th place and everyone had finished i guess i musta sat on the X button or something and made it go back on....then got nailed in the arse by the AI as i was sitting in the middle of the road!! YARG did it ever cheese me off lol

I know, you hit one head on. Then put it in reverse, then shift into first. That literally wastes 10 seconds with the lag it takes to actually move in reverse.

yea for the super speedway endurance i usually use the escudo and im finished within 50mins.. this time i couldnt be bothered so i taped left lightly and taped x hard. i came back at regular intervals(12,24,36...all the time i was winning) when i came back at 48mins i was jammed into a corner going 31kph and i was in 6th place, i quickly ripped the tape off and proceeded to floor it round the course and catch up as i was on about lap 57(very low for 48mins???), i thought i would never make it, i was flooring it and i never seemed to gain a position, then i slowly made my way up to 2nd, and saw a car in front of me, i smashed him into the last corner because i thought he was coming first, in the process i got myself spun out, then a damned skyline smashed me back into a wall and round comes a RUF RGT, now being the best car in the race i expected it to be the winning car so i sped off to try and win, when i crossed the line i found out that it was the stupid skyline that had won and i was in second. god that pissed me off.
