Ive got a never been used one in my garage, might suit it up and take it for a rag!

the BMW M3 GTR (roadcar, from last month's OCD) on STOCK Suspension, and stock LSD, offers me the most consistency.

All I did was tinker with gear ratios to keep me in brute torque, coupled with high top speed transmission setting (around 360km/hr), to plow my way through any resistance in its peak powerband. Takes corners with minimal scrubbing, minimal loss of time to get there under 7mins at ~500-505pp.

I don't like to drive the 'Ring...

but when I do, I use any of the various GT500-class NSX race cars (Raybrig, Epson, Castrol, Mobil, etc).

The SLS is definatly a blast to drive around the 'ring.
The Supra RZ is also a lot of fun.

I've two 'good cars':-
1. Nissan Calsonic Impul GT-R #12 '08 as standard,
2. Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG (R230) '02, fully tuned.

Both are really good with softened suspension.

I also like the Mercedes-Benz Sauber Mercedes C9 Race Car #63 '89, but it is difficult to keep on the island! In spades, doubled and redoubled.

My favourite car to take for a drive is my fully tuned Lotus Elise 111R. The ring is an especially great place for it due to its perfect handling.

I don't have an absolute favourite or "best" car for the 'Ring (well, at least I don't think I do), although I usually prefer the car I'm driving to have a higher than usual ride height and softer dampers to squeeze a few seconds off my lap times.

Fully tuned Subaru Impreza hatch. I added extra body rigidity and it handles amazing. Black on black, with only a front spoiler. I use it, along with a similarly spec Subaru Impreza 4-door, also black on black, to test tracks in the track maker and online.

Stock exotics or performance cars in general with sport hard tires. Throttle modulation and precise braking gives some really interesting laps.

The Ring is my favourite track and i've had a lot of success with anycar i've driven. however the car that seams most bes fit for the ring is (Wait for it...) The GT-R 07. I've been able to beat my friends in racecars with this car. I've managed 10 second leads in a GT-R while they are crashing trying to catch me. It might be just because i know the track and i enjoy it, or because i know how to drive it, I'm not really sure, however if you can tune the understeer out of the car, you're golden.

My Ring-love Car is:

Trial Celica stock or Maxxed tuned.

This is the best ride for me at 490-520pp. It can´t beat super fast aliens in their perfectly tuned NSX//M3 CSL/-GTR or others but it´s great and it´s FWD.
I did beat some of the normal fast guys in it because I´m not super fast either.
Try it stock and you know why I like it that much.
