Urm... not many good fast food burger bars in England...not to say that i dont like them though:D
My favorite burgers are a Burger King classic Whopper with a slice of cheese and Wimpys quarter pounder's.

I really wish we had some of the less common ones that have been mentioned such as Sonic, In-N-Out, or even White Castle.

Me too. We do without those brands here in West Michigan, and every time I see them advertised on TV I get a little upset. Oh well, when I head south I normally stop at one of the three. I'm going to Miami this summer, and there are a few cool joints down there that I like to go to, but I'm not sure if they are there anymore (last time I was in Miami was 2004).

...We did get a Red Robin burger joint recently, and although I wouldn't call it "fast food," it is a burger joint no less. However, I understand that it is a bit overrated and a bit expensive, and I don't know if I like that or not. Applebees works fine (lol).

Good Times Burgers & Frozen Custard has a "Big Daddy Bacon Cheeseburger" thats worth checking out.

We don't get the best fast food selection here in Western Pa, mostly just the major chains like Wendy's, McDonald's, and Burger King. I really wish we had some of the less common ones that have been mentioned such as Sonic, In-N-Out, or even White Castle.
Don't worry, a month or two ago KDKA's website had an article that the owner of the King's chain is planning to bring Sonic into W. PA. I believe it said ones in Allegheny, Westmoreland, and Washington counties. Soon we should be able to see a Sonic commercial then go out and get one of their burgers.
Edit: Here's one of the articles on it: http://www.timesleader.com/mld/timesleader/16393330.htm

The best fast food burger is Wendy's Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger. It is inexpensive and hard to find a place that will screw it up, unlike some other burgers which will vary from location to location.

Every now and then I go to Wendy's, eat inside, and the Classic Double with Cheese I order comes perfect. It's not greasy, not dry, but right in the middle, cooked to exacting specifications, and intensly flavorful. Putting ketchup on it brings out the flavor of the beef even more, and a pack of honey gives it a sweet tang along with the groovy beef.

So under the right curcumstances Wendy's makes the best fast-food burgers in my opinion. Other than that, Burger King rarely disappoints.

And as chicken goes, Chic-fil-A is the best by miles. The chicken is soft, moist, and absolutely perfect. The pickels mae it even better. And the menus don't lie--the service at our local Chic-fil-A is top-notch, even among real restaurants.

Burger King Quad Stacker.

Words cannot express how I love that burger.

Niiice. I'm gonna ask my mom if I can have that for lunch tomorrow....

What do you love most about it? For me its the combination of bacon, large amounts of cheese, and the fact that it has portion sizes of biblical proportions.... And the honey mustard, the first time I ever had it was because of the Quad Stacker.

EDIT: Anyone ever go to Roy Rogers? The burgers and the sloppy joes are awesome there. 👍

I like the Sloppy Joes at... Sloppy Joe's.

That's awesome, hopefully they put one downtown, and also one in Butler County as well. Restaurants usually do very well in Cranberry twp, so I wouldn't be surprised to see one there as well.

Now I just need to find some White Castles that aren't in Ohio :yuck: and I'll be set.

Double doubles with fries well done and a neopolitan shake from In-n-Out is excellent.

Actually, that reminds me, how are the animal style fries? A friend of mine swears by them, but I can never remember to try it...

However, the nearest In-n-Out is around 5 miles away, so a Spicy Tendercrisp Chicken Sandwich makes a nice substitute.

That being said, I like the Junior Bacon Cheeseburger from Wendy's. I always get it with ketchup instead of mayo, and since it's only a dollar, you can't go wrong with it.

Exactly what I get. Plus a Frosty and fries, naturally.

1) Wendy's Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger: Well, they taste pretty darn good, and they are only $0.99, so you really can't go wrong with picking them.

Once again, everyone loves em. So great, so cheap, so bad for you...I had 2 for dinner tonight hahaha

But if I go to a real restaurant, I have a very specific place around here called the Charlie Horse and it's a sports bar with an arcade and a pool hall and a projector and it's basically heaven. I get a big bacon cheeseburger and their crispy fries and off to the arcade. So many good times with friends...

We've got a Wendy's and McDonalds within walking distance from my house. There used to be a Friendly's Ice Cream bar, but they tore that down and are supposedly putting in a Popeye's Chicken & Biscuits. Got one at the mall, everyone goes there.
I've yet to see a Whitecastle, Sonic, Carl's Junior, etc in my life. I'd love to go there though, seems cool.

Animal Fries are awesome, if you like the burger sauce. It's regular fries, well done, with a grilled piece of cheese, grilled onion and tons of the burger sauce. Together, it makes a fantastic blend.

I’m not a big hamburger person – the only thing I particularly like is Carl’s Jr.’s Western Bacon Cheeseburger. I once had the Six Dollar version of that, which was delic, but a bit too much even for a big eater like me.

I’m one of those weirdos who prefers to order something a bit different from the normal offerings at burger places. If I’m at Carl’s, for example, I like to order fish and chips with a vanilla milkshake (they really do make wonderful shakes now).

I don't eat my top picks much, so they won't be the top of my list. I'll have to say the Wendy's triple. Amazing stuff. Sooo gross yet so amazingly good.

My other faves:
In n out but I only get to eat those when I go down to Cali.
Dick's. Great, great stuff. Too bad they are only in Seattle, a good half-hour away.:ouch:

My favorite all-time burger? Red Robin teriyaki burger. Teriyaki sauce, chicken, pineapple, lettuce, pure goodness. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I LOVE fish&chips. Carl's Jr's isn't bad at all, but I don't think I've ever had one with milkshake. My favorite fish&chips is from Jack In The Box. Nasty and greasy, just the way I like it. :D

Culver's Double ButterBurger Swiss. Ketchup only.

Damnit, now I wish I had thought of it earlier, as Culver's closed 38 minutes ago. :(

Hmmm I would have to say a Deluxe from Dick's Drive-In. When I was working with my dad there was one about a block away, so I was there when ever I didn't pack a lunch.

god damn it now I'm hungry......

Carl's jr is my all time favorite place. Yeah, i like it better then In-n-Out which is in my top 3 list. I always get the double-western combo, with fries and a large drink. Spicy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich really tasted good too. Anyone here have tried it too?

WTF? Triple Whopper? That's just gross...
I'm glad the Burger King's here haven't gone triple-double-extra-large-bacon-n-butter-meal-crazy here. I love Burger King, especially the fries.

Heh, I fully need a burger for lunch now, this thread making me hungry. My personal favourite would be a Bacon Backfire from Burger fuel, chicken fillet, lots of bacon, salad, relish and aioli. Either that or pretty much anything from a Burger Wisconsin.

2 burgers that are my favorites. but I've never really found one I didn't like.

#1 Jack In The Box Ultimate Cheeseburger

#2 Wataburger's Bacon Cheeseburger

Bacon at Jack in the box on the otherhand.. is not advisable.. Avoid at all costs.

I never have liked Whataburger too much. I can't stand their onions.

Everyone keeps ranting and raving about In-n-out...I need to move to California. :(

I'll bet you'll think it's overrated if you ever get to try it. We grew up on this stuff. It was better than McDonald's, as soon as your turned 9 or 10. As teens, we hung out there. As driving young adults, our dates started and ended there. It's more apart of our lives than a tasty place to eat. But, I still think it's the best burger joint in the world solely for their food.
