any way, check out my attachment in the "Fave car in GT2?" in the GT2 forum of GTP. THAT is my fave car of all time, what a sweet car it is. The sound of this little baby is music to my ears. What is your fave car?

Thanx for the CIVIL reply Stealth Viper. BTW ZC, what is TL? (Also ZC, it will be like a walk in the park for my Denso Sard Supra *blows raspberries*) :D

I think Rice Rocketeer was using TL as an abbreviation for his Acura 3.2TL(definitely no match for a MKIV Supra, even if the TL has "NOS")

Favorite car of all time .... (I'm assuming 'consumer class')

Short list:

Ferrari 355 GTS (yellow)
Shelby Cobra 427 (gray with red racing stripes)
Mazda RX-7 RZ (yellow)
Honda NSX (metalic gray, nummy)

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention my favorite car of all time. By looking at my profile it should be pretty obvious, but anyways...:p

My FAVORITE car is the MKIV(1993-1998) Toyota Supra. Especially the Twin Turbo model. I've seen about 7 Supra's in real life(including my brother's '97 N/A) Everytime I see one a tear rolls down my cheek... One time I was at Sub-Way, and some guy pulled up in his wingless '97 quicksilver Supra TT 6 spd., I talked to him about it for like 30 minutes, and I begged & begged & begged, and I finally convinced him to let me drive it, but he said I'd have to let him drive my car. Needless to say, he got to drive my car because there was no way in hell I was gonna pass up the oppurtunity to drive his car...:p I've never been so happy before in my life, I was almost in Heaven that day...:D

I'd honestly take a MKIV(93-98) Supra before I'd take a Porsche 911 TT, Ferrari 360 Modena, BMW M5, ZO6, etc...

The Blackpool made tvr speed twelve is clearly the best car ever made it may not be the most practical - but who cares - It looks and sound like the best thing ever and must go at mach 50 or something jw :D :D :D :D

I'd have to go with the '93 20B Cosmo, even though there is only one in the country :( . 270 someodd HP, in a nice car.

I also like the 3rd gen RX-7s, and for a classic, I'll take a GSL-SE. My dad had a dark silver one, got hit by a red light runner, staitened the frame and fixed it up to mint condition, but it wouldn't pass emitions, and had rust starting in the wheel wells. Sold it to a guy down our street who was moving to Illinois. Nice car, leather, premium radio, it was fast and had a clear sound of the rotary.

Although, if I had to choose a car that I could actually own someday, I'd go with the MX-3 GS. 1.8 V6 can be swapped for a 2.5 Probe V6, since it was the same engine, just down tuned to 132hp, instead of 165hp, so it becomes a instint rocket, and I think that it looks like a small 3rd gen. ;)

I don't think you could have ONE car, so here is my list:

For everyday: Audi S6 Avant (style, panache, power, poise)
For cross-country blasts: Subaru Impreza P1 (nuff said)
For posing: F355 F1 Spider (better looking than 360)
For God-like power: Lamborghini Diablo GT (rolling thunder)
For big fun in a small box (and track days): Caterham Superlight R (zoom, screech!)

That would cover it for me. Now, planning permission for a secure, hermetically-sealed 5 car garage in suburbia anyone?

Hey, boyz, I ****ed up! I was going to give ZC his come-uppance for dissing my Supras (thx for the support, Josh mate) but I posted the pics in my other thread "fave car in GT2?" in the GT2 forum instead. Pretty dumb, huh. Neway, ZC, head on over there to check out the best car made in the history of mankind.

This thing started the modernn Skyline legend.

Just such a pure concept - Nissan said 'we need to win Group A - what is the best car we can design' and they just went and did it.

I watched their debut in the Australian Touring Car Championship at Sandown in the hands of Jim Richards and Mark Skaife in 1991 - they just exploded off the line, and ran an absolute demonstration race.

It was the first Japanese car to win the Bathurst 1000 touring car race. The following year, they put 100kg of ballast in it, put a pop-off valve in it, and it still won.

A road spec GT-R was quicker 0-60kmh than a race spec Group A Holden Commodore V8.

This car was so successful it killed off the formula.

;)perhaps you'd think otherwise if you were given the opportunity to drive one of them ;)

one of these:
Ferrari 360 Spider
Lotus M250 (too bad it didn't go into production)
Porsche Boxster S
BMW M3 (2002)
Lotus Exige
:)

Well, I've driven a '01 M5 before(not hard, just normal), and I got to drive my ex-girlfriend's mom's new Z06, and I've driven a '00 911 Carerra(art teacher's car, bought by her husband)(obviously not a 911 TT, but it's kinda close, not performance-wise though), but I've never driven a 360 Modena. Trust me, there's nothing I'd take over a Supra.

i'd take a supra over a Z06 anyday regardless of which is the better performer ......i'd also take a supra over an M5 if i was going to the "race-track" but at any other time i'd gladly have the M5 .......as for cars like the 360 Modena, 911 Turbo, or M3 ......i'd have to disagree with you there .....

I would take a Supra too, especially this one.
