Don't you just hate that bump on the inside of the exit of Gerrards?

Yeah, and the fact that from the side you can't see it but when you're on it the exit is on a (slight) crest so you get a wiggle over the bump and it gets amplified as the front goes light over the crest. Makes you feel like you're proper on it though.

The tarmac seam all the way through it in the centre of the track is a pain too, if you need to go round the outside of someone or something, you have to cross it and it upsets it a bit.

Having said all that they do a cracking Lasagne in the caff.

Kurtis.

Most people dont care about drag strips so I will list the fun tracks near me.
1.Gingerman Raceway about an hour and a half away.
2.Gratton Raceway about 2 hours away.
I have videos and pics of driving on these tracks. I went on gingerman raceway with my 69 Camaro this year against 2004 C5 Corvettes. :)
A decent HP car can hit 110mph on the straights.

Hummingbird
a tiny dirt oval...
you know how annoying it is to be woken up at 12 midnight by roaring V8's with no exhaust cause some moron running the 4 cylinder rolled his Pinto? ><

Well, I'm in Northern Ohio, so my closest track USED to be the infamous Cloverleaf Speedway in Valley View, Ohio. Great 1/4mile paved bullring oval that unfortunately closed due to rising insurance and land costs.

There's now a gravel pit and a General Cinemaplex where the track used to be.

However, thankfully there's still Sandusky Speedway (great paperclip 1/2mile, home of the Hy-Miler Nationals and the MSA Supermodifieds), Attica Raceway Park, Painesville Speedway, Lorain County Speedway, Mansfield Motorsports Speedway, Kil-Kare Speedway, Toledo Speedway, Fremont Speedway, Eldora, Sharon Speedway, and the list of tracks I can go to for great racing on the weekends within 2hours goes on and on.

And for the right turn crowd, there's Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, Nelson's Ledges, and in July CART and the SCCA (including but not limited to, Trans Am, Speed World Challenge, and a host of others) are hosted at Burke Lakefront Airport right here in Cleveland.
