I haven't seen a thread around like this, and I am pretty interested in hearing peoples stories about racing numbers, so here is the question:

What is your racing number/numbers, and why have you chosen them?

I'm not sure if I should explain my answer, but...

68

You do me and I'll owe you one.

No, seriously. That's my number in recent years, and that corny joke is why.

#93, taken from the year-model of my first real-world car turned into track-day toy.
(it is also in my PSN for the same reason)

13 for me, it's always been a joke that I'm unlucky so I've taken it. I got it at gt academy, I thought it was a sign (It wasn't :()

^But we are quite a few to use it here!

#13 here aswell, many reasons for it ;) This number is just part of my life for many many years now, and apparently it´ll stay that way!

Can´t say I´ve had more bad luck than others tho. So I don´t believe in that, it´s just a number (or a combination of two numbers).

Most of the time I use the number 92 as it is the year of my birth combined with, if possible, the paint Rosso Corsa (big Ferrari fan here). Other numbers are 8 (lucky number), 13 (unlucky number for everyone except me) or the highest number possible (here it would be 99). I also use special numbers for replicas (Chevrolet Corvette LM Race Cars for example). :)

Depends on the car. But I have some preferences. Mazda: 55 (787B) Viper: 91 (Daytona winner) Mercedes: 63 (Sauber C9)... I like 88 and 99 and I also like 26 because of my birthday. But sometimes I use 1 or 2.

In GT5 i used 69 cause inside and outside the car it would read the same. I might using number 3 as it was on my Yamaha YZ 80 that was used for racing when I was younger.

We all know the real reason ;):sly:

99 or 69. I used 99 when I did competitive go-karting and 69 is a little bit of a play on my original number. It's also somewhat inspired by the Rockstar Games tradition of having a reference to that number one way or another in their video games :sly:
