What's your test track?

Autumn Ring and Monza (No Chicane).

Autumn Ring for the tight direction changes and Monza for sweepers and top end.

Nurburgring 24 hr layout

My own ZAKSPEED circuit :sly:

Or my Tuscan Hills road circuit (at night :sly:)

Sir Tuddle
Top gear test track, i also imagine jeremy clarkson narrating it as i pass through the hammerhead xD

And I thought I was the only one. :P

In my case, the Top Gear Test Track for handling experiments and the SSR7 for speed and acceleration tests.

"The Nürburgring GP-Strecke"

The layout of the track is based to that of a regular road. It has a tortuosity length of index 5.000km, including the bends and straight. The average speed for the course is over 180 km/h, with peaks of more than 320 km/h driving formula gt and that exceeds over 380pKPH driving with Red Bull X2010. The amount of straight road and bends was designed to solve specific problems from its older counter-part. The old track was nicknamed The Green Hell by Jackie Stewart and is the most demanding purpose-built racing circuit in the world. a balance between right and left bends, bends with different features having one or more centres. Which is more suitable to test the handling of a vehicles on its optimal structural stress situation. It include elements that resembled the features of some European courses. I used Bend number 1(Castrol-S) to assess car behaviour when braking hard. Bends 2 and 9 (sharp bends to left and right) to verify brakes when turning into the bend and handling elasticity when leaving it from the exit. Mostly on sedans/sports car. The uphill slope, with its ?% incline as from bend 10(Michael Schumacher-S), and the straight between bends 6 and 7, with a number of ups and downs including a first hump, a dip and another hump, were designed to highlight variations in stability during car's turning at highspeed to measure how aerodynamic efficient it is throughout a corner. And i intended to highlight overall car performance, particularly from an aerodynamic viewpoint. Chicane 15 provides a good indication of chassis behaviour during acceleration after exiting from bends 14(Veedol) & 15, particularly relating to drive from my point of view. And due to the varied nature of the circuit containing straights, chicanes and ups and downs it makes an idea place to test all aspects of a Sports car especially the engine stability(Traction) and the aerodynamic of an open wheel.

I must be a freak. I always go to Rome first, to see how easily i can "place" the car onto exact points of apexes. Its such a tight track in the corners. Also i use Monaco to see what the car can do at low speeds, and to get to know the sort of throttle control and low gear shift points to avoid wheelspin and stuff.

Since today, my very own generated track, which i absolutely adore!! I can't stop racing on it. So far had 5 people who said it was good....just good, pfft what do they know, haha

I almost always use Circuit de La Sarthe for most of my testing but I occasionally use Top Gear Test Track.

For me I start by doing a speed run down Le Mans then I take the testing to Eiger. I don't know why but there is something addicting about testing there.

Deep Forest for the corners and elevation changes and sometimes Tsukuba
