When did you get PS2?

not to brag, but i got it first day of NA release. just trying to find out if anyone else was crazy enough to reserve it 7 months ahead of time or if anybody camped outside the night b4.

I got mine on the launch day. I reserved it in February and I almost didn't get one. I was number 8 on the list, luckily a guy didn't pay up and I was moved up to 7. There were only 7 units in my whole town.

i was #3 on the list at my local GameStop store (it was Babbages back then.) I think they only got 5 or 10 systems on launch day. I reserved in March, payed in full 2 months before release, and picked mine up at 3PM. No camping, no rush, no trouble. I have to remember that for PS3.

When it was $500 AU...my friend got it when it was first released...it was $730 AU if I remember correctly...I was like, "Holy ****nut!" And I think for a date, I bought it a year and a half ago.
