Christmas morning. About 8.00 a.m.
Stockings, whatever time I wake up on Thursday morning. (1.00 a.m. is normally good)

I go to a relatives house on Christmas Eve and we don't get back until late at night. We usually open presents and stuff when we get home, so we can just sleep in on Christmas morning.

I open a couple on the 24 just to tide me over til the next mornin'.

we opens the presents the 24th... after dinner. about 8 pm or something.

Round one: In the morning at our house

Round two: At about 6:00 PM at my aunts house.

Christmas eve. 8-9PM.
My wife bought me SSX3, and I bought Jak2 for my oldest son.:D
Christmas is saved!
Unfortunately we won't be back to the PS2 before the 26'th. :(

Round one: Christmas eve at my Aunt's house 6pm-9pm.

Round two: At my house anywhere between 6:30 and 8:00 pm.

My family is a little awkward, in that, we open presents after dinner on christmas eve.

Wow. I thought most people did it on the morning of the 25th. Guess not, though.

I was going to post the same thing, it seems these days everyone is too impatient to wait a few hours.

I open my presents when I get up on Christmas afternoon.

For me, opening my gifts on the 24th has to do with some German tradition my family follows.

Christmas Morning when the family gets up

Mine become opened when the family finishes breakfast, of course there are the presents that stay unwrapped from our (my sisters and me) parents to us (which we recieve as soon as we walk downstairs). I wish I could show the tradition of how my family does Christmas, it's really wierd...

Stage One: Christmas Eve, at about 7:30
Stage Two: Christmas Morning, whenever my dad gets out of bed
Stage Three: Christmas Afternoon/Night: At my grandparents house, whenever they want to get around to it.

Christmas morning when we wake up, of course. I might open one small gift on the 24th, but the bulk is opened on Christmas. I wouldn't want to open them on Christmas Eve; Christmas day isn't half as good then.

Our family usually opens our presents on Christmas day at my grandparents in the afternoon and at night at the other grandparents. This year however we are staying home so we'll probably open them whenever my sister arrives.

i get up at about 5-6am on christmas morning (as with every morning) and check out my stocking...put it all back in the stocking...put the stocking back up...get the stocking back down when my parents get up...sit around for an hour drinking whatever (mainly coffee/cocoa/cider) and then my dad hands out presents one by one until they're all gone and then we go our seperate ways and check out our presents...

Christmas Eve. We haven't always done this. We started on the Christmas Eve that we had to have our Golden Retriever put to sleep.:(

well sometimes i open the smallest present i can find on xmas eve after church and then i admire it all night then i sleep in and wake up like 12 and get mad because half the day is gone then my dad says wait till he's done eatting before we open the pesents in which case he takes as long as he can. though it all works out in the end mountains of presents whooo hoooo only 3 days away! i can just feel my attension span slipping!as well as my patients!:D  o riiiiight:banghead: cant wait!:banghead: :D  :p :banghead:  must open presents!

My family opens presents at about 1pm on Christmas Day. This is a tradition that stems back to when my uncle was killed: every year my father leaves the house at 5:00am on Christmas morning to go and put flowers on his grave. He gets back at around 11am, then we take a couple of hours to sort everything out.

My wife's family do it at about 10:00am Christmas morning.

It's funny: this is the first year I will wake up in my own house on Christmas morning.

I don't get many presents, because I'm quite happy with everything I have.

But when I do get presents, I open them on Christmas Morning.

I tell everybody who will listen that we should do it January 4 - that way, we can shop for gifts post-Christmas and reap the 'after Christmas discounts'. Nobody does it, though. :(
