Timezones, how do they work!?

As someone said above, trades reset at midnight GMT. Because EST is 5 hours behind GMT (GMT-5) it will be 7pm there at midnight GMT. Your daily trade restriction will clear at that time - unfortunately you traded just after it last night.

Dude its 7PM EST that the trades reset. Its simple math. 12AM - 5 hours = 7PM EST.

I hate having it so late in the day since it really prohibits me from running the 24 hour races so I can make trades in a timely manner.

How does it prohibit you from running a 24 hour race? You make your trade at your normal time and then start the 24 hour race. When your normal trading time whatever that may be comes up the next day the 24 hour race will be complete and you can do your trade. The same would be true no matter what time the system resets.

Im not saying it prevents me from trading all together but most of the time my day's agenda just doesn't allow me to be present when alot of people want to trade. Sorry, should have stated it more clearly.
