When the GT5 Release date is announced..

.. Will there be a countdown on the main page of this site? Like xx days, hours, minutes, seconds to release?

Or will the admins be too scared of the game being postponed again?

Couple of days ago, or a week ago when there was a 1 month delay for JAPAN, it said that SOON they will give us the release date.. still they did not.. Soon is couple of days, not over a week!

Soon is half of a year in japanese ....
 
But at least they're releasing info on a pretty regular basis. Well, screens anyway which is always nice.

Well, how long they meant by "soon" remains to be seen, but I can tell you now, a couple of days means "two days", not "soon".

You are wrong again. Couple of days could mean many weeks too in Japanese, depending on circumstances :mad:
 
They will probably announce in e3 2010.. I hope PAl version will be annonunced in GC2010.

There was 4 new-ish pictures on the 16th!!! Aslong as there's an interesting something or other once a week, it's enough to keep me waiting happily.

Back to the thread. I wasn't around for the countdown to GT4 but I would love to have a daily countdown which gave a little fact about GT5. i.e. Did you know GT5 has more cars than you have facebook friends?

I doubt it would be here, but I could see it happen in the official website of GT.

How in the Hell do you think it's coming in 2011?!?!?! They planned release for Japan in march (now, maybe April, and we don't know y), so I don't think it takes 8 months to just translate the content? Please... this is becoming annoying. Sony just does not give us new info, like Yamamuchi needer did nowadays. :crazy: :yuck:

We need NEW, FRESH, OFFICIAL and COOL info!!! :ouch:

I've been waiting (along with everyone else) with a certain level of optimism for about 18 months. Each new event or snippet of information might reveal the release date. Unfortunately all we have received is a series of let downs, either because our expectations were so high, or because of comments from KY appear to have been misleading.

I am now at the point where I am nothing but pessimistic. Everything is wrong. The silence from PD is deafening. Nothing really new for six months, release dates in Japan postponed without any revision, no damage shown since the middle of last year....it goes on...

I hate to be so downbeat, but I cannot see the game being released now until the end of the year at best. I really hope I am wrong.

It's only a video game, but it's disappointing because we love it so much!!!!

It's not about translation. Kaz said that the japanese AND european versions will be ready at the same time. PAL version includes french, italian, spanish etc... AND english (english is the standard language of ntsc games so it would just be a copy-paste of pal version)
 
Guys It will be out before the end of March. I can assure you. And I think Jordan should decorate the news page with fireworks and such to celebrate such a long wait finally coming to a close. I personally don't drink an awful lot but I'm going to have a glass of wine when I sit down to play Gran Turismo 5. No silly stuff just one glass to celebrate ;)
