PSN?!? What PSN?!?
Hey guys and girls especially this time around, simple Q & A here. Are you a parent and if so what are the names (optinonal), birthday and ages. Another reason for this particular thread, for us parents really the younger first time ones like myself to offer your take on parenting and such. Me I am a 1st time dad of the most adorable brat ever next to her father of course :sly:.

So yes I am a parent. My daughter is 22 months, d.o.b Jan. 17, 2008.

I'm a Dad x 2.

Thing 1 - Boy - 5.5 years old
Thing 2 - Boy - 3.5 years old

My wife works weekend 12 hour shifts (7a-7p) and is in Graduate school so I have them (not counting when I do their bath and put them to bed every night) from Friday morning to Monday morning and she manhandles them the rest of the time.

Almost 2 years too late, but congrats on the daughter!

Thanks I like the Thing 1 & 2 labeling. I call the growing bundle of joy trouble, spelled 'Troubelle', Belle for short. Parenting is a great new venture that I love each and everyday even though I haven't been one for long LoL.

LoL I KNOW RiGHT! I caught it after I dressed the little one for bed. How do you fix it I was sooo hoping someone would come along and see the incorrect punctuation.

you edit the first post, there's a bit where you can change the thread title

I am the mother of Zoe aged 23 and Jack aged 20.
I am also the iMum to Danny, Blake and Cody.
I can't have done too bad a job as a parent if Jack is happy to have me stalking him here and others here have adopted me.

I agree, I'm got a vote for coolest mother in mind, you so beat out the MySpace mothers. I wish I could get my mother to show interest in GT let alone a PlayStation anything LoL.

I had two boys once, ages 13 and 8, but they're gone now. I now have a pair of underpants-thieving monkeys.

You still don't need the "at" in the title. Gotta teach those kids you know.

I have 2 Sons,age 25 & 26.
And 2 Grand Daughters, age 5 & 1 as you can see I am getting older.:)

hey I'm 13 and, waaay too young to have kids that and dont have a girlfriend

Well there are lads in this country that manage to have kids when they are 13-16 and don't have a girlfriend. Of course I am not suggesting you follow their example.

i am 25 and in the same boat, kids are dirty and evil but then again i know if i were ot have one at this moment in my life i would love it till the end of time and do everything i could to protect the kid and give it what i can

I have two boys. One who is 3.5 years and one who was born six weeks ago today.

Well, I've got 2 daughters, age 17 and 13. Senior and 8th grader, respectively. Well on my way down the driver's-license-prom-college-application waterslide.

Der Alta is a multi-parent too, just not of human offspring... ;)

At 13 I didn't have kids on the mind LoL, but what do you know 5, 6 years later... behold the only thing greater than I .

Those are the days that are so very distant for me with my daughter but I dread them nonetheless. IDK what's going to be harder to take, the Prom Nite or DMV scares LoL.

Beast #1: Emma, age 5
Beast #3: Jonathan, age 3
Beast #4: Jessica, age 8 months.

Beast #2: Alastair, died age 1 month.

Ah, good, a thread with lots of parents.

A special note to all of you who have children - try not to complain about them too much. I know you weren't going to in this thread, but keep it in mind when talking to your friends. Those of us who have been diagnosed as infertile would generally love to have your problems.

Infertile couples tend to not talk about it. I know it's hard, but just try to keep us in mind.

Thanks.

Odd that I am now surgically sterile (funny how the whole CF thing'll do that) only to find out that the whole reason for me choosing to do so is also likely sterile. Although he didn't have a choice.

Those of us who have been diagnosed as infertile would generally love to have your problems.
And sometimes those of us that are/were not infertile would gladly let you have said problems for a few peaceful, quiet hours.

I understand what you mean, though. :indiff:

I fully agree with you TB, and Danoff it's good that you mentioned it, though my 'brat' is being just that today LoL.

I know what you mean, and sympathise. But man, if we can't complain about our kids, we're going to be awful quiet! Mine were very nice this evening.
