The Top Gear and Nuburgring tracks are unlocked through the Top Gear and AMG special events, respectively. I don't know if there's a test or drag track, but Route 7 is definitely long enough to find your top speed.

Do we need all special events gold to have the Nurb unlocked ?

I got married yesterday - where are my children? :D

OT: I think that as the next few days go by we'll see some definitive unlock guides appearing - it should make it easier for other players to find info.

Yea I just thouht about it and guessed that's how they would be unlocked. This game is insane...the sounds are incredible, never heard such realism, I feel like they're all live cars on my screen.

Can't wait to get my hands on a E55...anyone have one???

I see no test track, drag tracks, nurburgring or the top gear track....where are they???
There are no test tracks or drag strips. The closest you'll get for the former is the Top Gear Test Track or Special Stage Route 7; there is nowhere that you can test your car over a quarter-mile or whatever.

Agreed we need drag tracks!
You know, I never once used the Las Vegas drag strip in GT4. I never really saw the need for it. But then, I've never been the kind of guy to modify his cars. I just race with the factory settings (except maybe weight if i want to make the race harder) and work with what I've got. Still got a 100% win ratio in GT4.

I saw trailer footage of and Audi and some other le mans car driving down the top gear runway (in the way off a drag strip). Anybody figured that out??

lol its like saying at the first play of gt5 "where are all 1000+ cars in my garage" ¬¬

Its getting very annoying how everyone expects to have everything the second they pop the game in. No one wants to earn anything. They just expect to have everything.

I agree for a different reason, it's largely irrelevant unless you are specifically drag racing. How often during a race do you try and beat an opponent from a standing start? Sure acceleration is important, but so is ability to turn.

At a guess they may have just been showing neck to neck racing? The line wouldn't necessarily be a race dividing line since there is lines all over the TGTT.
