Where are these DLC's

DLC's have been promised in the past and DLC's have been promised recently. Us diehard fans hold on to words as if they were little nuggets of gold. All that we here are evasive comments, as if we were taking part in a court procedure. I'm asking YOU, my fellow GTP brothers and sisters, are we getting another DLC or not?

Nobody here knows and nobody will know until Kaz announces something. So really you just have to be patient.
 
The Academy prizes still aren't finished. I'd expect 2 months after that, minimum.
 
I think the DLC break has been too long, You know it I know it and Kaz knows it :(
If you got DLC tomorrow, would you buy it? I would but it would only be a few days before people were complaning that it wasnt enough.

I dont think it will be long before GT6's "announcement" and before people say thats for ps4, look at it this way... on the ps3 we will soon have C.O.D black ops 2, and Grand Theft Auto 5 to name drop a few big titles (neither of which have been confirmed on said console) but it seems likley your ps3 has some more use ahead.

IMO, there will be at least 1 more DLC for GT5 but I doubt you will hear anything untill the Acadamy version is released on disc, and my guess is a short time after the extra's that appear on that disc will be released on PSN.

Edit: Black ops 2 is confirmed on PS3 and X-BOX 360
GTA 5 isn't confirmed but some websites are willing to let you pre-order it?

Since I got Forza 4 and Xbox 360 I actually don't care about next possible DLC (car packs for GT5). Thinking about it (whether or when we get it) is a waste of time and nerves. I really doubt that PD will offer some remarkable cars, only another GT-R or some boring cars like MINI's or FR-S.

Are they not? I thought the tuned 370Z was the last one. I also thought there were 8 of them and I'm pretty sure the last 8 premiums I acquired are all Academy cars. What's left to come?

Anyway, there will be at least one more DLC featuring the 2012 Schultze Motorsport GT-R (and hopefully more) because it would be pretty tight-fisted of Sony to decide that you have to buy the Academy edition of GT5 to get it. Not to mention they'd sell far more if they made it DLC.

I don't like the way Yamauchi communicates; he makes these statements that are always in the middle between yes or no, so he is never obliged to hold a promise.

"we are thinking about it", "it might happen", "we might release the new game within the next 8 years"...

But if he does say something cryptical the GTP community explodes, and starts getting their hopes up. Only leading to extensive long waits for things that are never gonna happen.

Maybe he's practicing to be a politician. I broke down and and bought an XBOX360 FM4 bundle and haven't looked back since, I know everyone can't afford that but I'm a 51 year old big kid and I can. I keep checking back over here for a hint of some new cars or tracks but same old, same old. Sad really...
 
Yea all the GTA was giving out today so well prolly hear something within the next few weeks or so... Like turboprop said get a 360 and enjoy it lol

Even if there is another DLC, how much you want to bet they'll be pointless cars like the Nissan Leaf again, or more Skylines?

I recently got a 360 and FM4 as well. It's just a better game if you ask me. I like the level of variety, customization and realistic sounds.
 
To me, PD's focus and dedication to GT5 DLC support is depleted, so they should just focus on their next project/s.

Having gamers/customers/fans stuck in limbo about GT5 DLC is not exemplary.
 
What ever happened to the guess what's coming in May/June/July etc.

Loved them threads. It was more fun to guess the month than the content.

Those were the days.

Haha I remember those. I sort of miss em. You could always count on them like a clock. Lol :-) One day they jus disappeared. Poof!

Car rooster in that game and its diversity is awesome, something what can be compared to the Dream Team from Olympics Games in Barcelona in 1992. Never before have so many great players (cars) been gathered in one team (game). And maybe it won't happen again (bearing in mind trouble with Porsche license).

Nevertheless I've got few reasons for playing GT5 from time to time: driving physics (I'm used to it, free ride with DFGT gives me more fun and pleasure, unfortunately I don't have any wheel compatible with Xbox 360), tracks (mainly city courses) and premiums cars which look to me more realistic on replays in GT5 than in Forza 4.

At first, DLC content was expected to be released in approximately 2 month intervals. It obviously hasn't worked out that way in the real world.

At this point, one more DLC package makes sense. But after that, keep focused on GT6.

I believe GT6 will dictate the future of the series (if GT5 hasn't already had a HUGE hand in it). So much pressure. Let's see if it delivers.

I second this. I really do feel we may only see one, maybe 2, more DLC packs if we're lucky, then PD will declare themselves concentrating on GT6.
 
Not wanting to turn this into a wishlist, but I would have though that a previous original circuit or two(Midfield Raceway etc) would have been released. But if we have had our lot, so be it. The tracks that have been released have been a success, the support for the tracks once released hasn't.
 
Why are so many bringing up Forza? This thread is about possible GT5 DLC. I have both games along with tons of other people. Big whoop wanna fight about it?

This is exactly it! Kaz doesn't communicate at all. He said some months ago that they had enough content to release DLC every few months. And not much has come since then.

Recently he's talking about not making promises on dates because he doesn't want to get accused of it being delayed or whatever. Ok,fine. If he would give straight answers then that would put an end to the questions,but nothing. If he would TALK to the media and tell the fans what the plans for the future are,that would put an end to the questions. I know they like to build hype and all that crap,but Kaz and PD communication skills are a joke!

Edit: I will buy DLC,I will buy GT6,I refuse to buy Forza,and I have the money.

I wouldn't hold my breath for DLC now. Last DLC we got was seven months ago. I don't mind though, GT6 should be top priority.

Kaz said he's thinking about nominating this statement, as fanboy statement of the year but he wouldn't tell when and if it would happen... but the possibility is definitely there ;).

Kidding dude, nothing wrong with being a fan.

I'm more or less coming back here to see if things actually processed with GT5's support, as i gave up waiting for the unknown almost 3 months ago and it was the best decision i could ever make.

I'll be driving the Alfa 33 Stradale, and BA Baracus his beloved van soon if you catch my drift.
