Where you will spend most of time in GTmode or online?

I would like to know where you will spend time where GT5 come out, am 100% for GTmode am old-fashioned guy...

Obviously in GT mode, because i'm just starting the game, however as my GT mode progress increases, I'm more likely to spend more time racing against my buddies of GTplanet..

GT Mode so I can get some cool rides. Then I'll try some online races. Then I'll switch back and forth. But GT Mode is what makes Gran Turismo, Gran Turismo. Online is the icing on the cake.

It's really too hard to say, since the game isn't out yet, I don't know how GT Mode is going to compare to previous games in the series. I do think people should wait until GT5 has been released to make these kind of threads, though.

Online of course. I will be finishing the GTmode at first (to get ready for online), after that I won't be touching it again.

I'll give online a shot, but if it runs like GT5P did, I can't see myself spending to much time with it. I really hope PD is ironing out the issues with online because I would love to race against some skilled guys for a good challenge.

GTMode. I'm not that great of an online racer to the point where I could win some races. About the only game that I've won races in is GTAIV and that's not saying much. I'll probably do some online races but only after I've reached about 50% in GTMode so that I know I should be able to get at least a top 5 place(hopefully).

You know what I'd like to see? Online encorporated into GT mode. How freaking awesome would it be competing with either your buddies or the best in the World for the GT World Championship?! Of course, it should really only suppliment the single player mode, but I think I would really enjoy earning my crust against REAL drivers, wouldn't you?

GT Mode. I would imagine that everyone would drive around like a bunch of jokes in online mode, crashing into people, driving backwards, forgetting that one was playing and parking their car in the middle of the track, basically making themselves moving chicanes, etc... Then again, I've no experience with online racing games.

100% GT mode for the first couple of weeks and then 90% GT Mode 10% online until GT-mode is complete. Then I either concentrate on the online game or delete my save and start GT mode again depending on the quality of GT mode.

I think PD has stated that there will be private lobbies in GT5 where you can invite friends.

But I think there will also be matchmaking as well, for those who just want to race online with anyone. The matchmaking would be affected by the usual stuff like connection types.

Does anyone know if GT5 will be using dedicated servers? GT5P was ptp and the cause of many connection problems. Dedicated servers in GT5 would greatly improve the online I would think. Hopefully PD/Sony decide to spend the money for it.

It depends on what GTmode is like, if its a real challenge to complete with hard races ill do that but if its stupidly easy like Forza then ill just play online.

I'll probably stay with GTmode and a little online. Racing games are usually a pain online so I try to avoid them, but GT5 wasn't too bad online so I'll definatly try it.

at the beginning of course GT mode...as usual i will first do the licences...like getting them all on bronce or even silver in the first few tries (gold chase I will take care of later) ...then doing first races with the won cars.. good to save the start money...

then when I am trained with gt5 (i assume the handling might be a bit different to gt5p) i will start racing with my buddies...

If there's an offline Career Mode, 95% probably, at least for a few months. If they just have the old GT Mode, 85-90%. The rest, online with the pals from here.
