Personally I have no idea which cars I'm going to restore yet. Maybe 1 or 2 of my LMP's?šŸ’”

I will be restoring my x10 and my x11 as well as my three aussie cars

Come on now. As you (the OP) stated yourself, you don't know what cars you're going to restore and I'm sure that's common in this community. Asking what everyone wants to restore is tantamount to asking what cars people want to be added to the game.

How is that asking what cars you want added to the game he is asking what prized rides you own that you want restored

Yes, If you bought the previous DLC you will get five refresh cards that you can use to restore your car to brand new without losing any modifications you did to it.

soo what you mean is if i got a 3000GT fully tuned with 3000000 miles and use 1of those restore cars i get the car with 0 miles and fully tuned ?

im not getting it :S

Look at the article on the news page. As a 'Christmas present' from PD if you bought the original DLC you get these 'refresh' cards which In some way(which isn't known) 'refresh' your cars.

That's not what I said, I said that it's tantamount to asking what cars we want added to the game. Both questions are of equal minimal value.

Here, this quote is from the news section : Finally, anyone who purchased the first batch of DLC will receive a free “Gran Turismo Racing Kart 125 SP” along with five free “New Car Refresh” cards that reset any car in the game back to as-new condition, without losing any modifications that have been performed to it.

EDIT: Tree'd.

What you are getting are basically free cards/coupons to the the engine restore and things of that sort. There are also going to be some for a few car washes and oil changes.

It is in the 4th bullet point in this link https://www.gtplanet.net/next-gran-turismo-5-update-new-dlc-coming-december-20th/

Unless there is something I'm missing.

nothing wrong with finding out how people will use the few cards they will receive

We're getting 10 of the tickets you're talking about, then 5 "car refresh cards". I think the 10 "GT Auto tickets" come with the update, and the 5 refresh cards are a gift for people that bought the first DLC.

@Carl3456: The Kart 125 you get has a special paint job.

I'm not sure, here's a picture:

Nah, it was Rod Saboury's Vette from back when Hot Rod magazine used to have the World's Fastest Street Car Competions in the 1990's. I wish it was though. I actually have a 1988 Mustang LX 5.0. (Hence my name.:sly:)

or you can go to the ferrari dealership and buy another ;)

Lol it looks like I won't be using it on them anyways. I thought it meant it would refresh your car as if it was brand new from the dealership. I tuned the F40 and 458 Italia and I just want them to be stock so I can take them out for a joy ride :P
and I don't wanna spend 600k on buying another pair either xD

Could it be that the only thing these cards change is the Engine Stages and the Weight Reductions? The parts stay on your car as they are reversible. So you would have a car keep its miles, changes etc.

That would be more realistic than a Shonky Used Car Dealer card, changing a cars statistics.

I understand it to mean that everything you have done to the car (upgrading, tuning, and customizing) remains but the engine and chassis revert to 0, similar to buying a car from the NCD and modifying it before putting any miles on it. Not to denigrate other posters, but anything else seems illogical to me. However, this is PD we're talking about.

I read it that way too, that it returns your car to new condition without removing the mods.

FGT refreshment for 5 straight weeks :D will save me over 2,500,000 credits šŸ‘
