Screaming Chicken, just because I grew up on smokey and the bandit. Handles surprisingly well stock. Sets up very nicely on racing suspension. Have high hopes for the Pozzi car.

De tuned Mustang boss to match my GT Brembo package personal ride. (Tune to 412 hp and pick up some custom wheels). Gonna hate it when they fix the wheel glitch.

F40, oh sweet Jesus how the new physics make that car a blast to push hard. Beware the wheel glitch though. Custom wheels on the F40 turn it into an ARMCO junkie.

Golf R '10. Mostly because I lusted after it for so long in real life. I gave up twice on getting one because VWOA didn't bring it over until '12. Besides, with a little tuning it is a nice counter to the hoard of EVOs and WRXs in the 4wd races. Do wish it was a left side cockpit though.

Shelby Cobra. I know I have the new physics engine down in a GT game when I can handle a Cobra with no aides tuned to take on the higher end races. Nothing like some old school topless fury taking on the new age techno Hypercars.

I'm hopeful that when they do, they offer us front and rear wheel width options like they did diameter options. A lot of mod options are yet to appear.

Anyway, I really can't pick any car in particular that I've driven because the new physics, in particular the suspension and tire modeling, are so freaking good. All the low powered Kei cars and sports coups are fun now. EVERY car is a new experience in the game, and like Huzzy, I think I Liked just about every post in here. I'd have to come up with cars I don't like, but... I can't think of any! :lol:

The GT40!! No assists, ABS 0, Stage three weight reduction and custom gears. Only 360HP and this thing kills even the Ford GT. I'm loving this car. I had a blast in the American Tour.
 
I did the Willow Springs S series race last night in the "Rocket" and it was a blast to drive....got a bit twitchy at the end of the race with tire wear but it pulled through like a champ and won the race...

đź‘Ť I totally underestimated the Rocket. That thing is one of the most fun "cars" to drive in the game. Sounds really nice too. Now I understand why its PP rating is so high.

It's actually driveable now :)


The 1973 Camaro is nice too but the mirror is WAY too big in cockpit view.

Agree, there is a LOT more differentiation now.

I really hope the width option shows up, I'd even like to go minus wheel size if they would sim wheel weights. Planning to put together a take on the Vorshlag GT Mustang at some point and it needs minus one on diameter 1-3" wider to go with the suspension and aero.
 
I'm loving the chrome plated delta wing I just bought. Not the most powerful thing in the world, but it handles fantastic and only needs one pit stop in 24 minutes of Le Mans.

The Audi Sport quattro S1 Pikes Peak '87 I won is an absolute blast to throw around a track with reckless abandon.

X2014 Junior is a lot of fun too, as well as the Rocket, especially on the Matterhorn tracks.
 
The 86/FR-S/BRZ trio. These cars are just so much fun to throw around whether stock or tuned. If you want it to grip, it grips. If you want to make the back end slide, it will. With the new suspension and tire physics, they feel much more alive than they were in GT5.

The NSX-R and Evora are great as well, but I've noticed that they're not the same grip monsters as they were in GT5. :(

Driving the Diablo GT and the 2013 Shelby GT500 surprised me though. So much power yet still planted and predictable. Had tons of fun pushing em in the IB races.

Have yet to own a Ferrari. They're just so damn expensive. And by the way PD, you better be modeling my 599 GTO :mischievous:

Did a 1-lap magic against @Ericiscoollike online, with him in a Ford Ka starting 2 minutes ahead, and no matter how hard I pushed the Focus through each of Nurburgring's tough corners, the Focus shrugged it off and continued onward. Didn't really care for it beforehand, but now it's definitely one of my favorite cars.

When I bought the game, the Megane Trophy car was my favorite. But since the v1.2 update, the Red Bull X2014 junior car is pretty much my favorite, it looks cool, sounds nice and handles very well :)

I bought a Mazda Cosmo 110 in GT6 the other day. It's certainly a lot tamer than in GT5, where it handled like a baby RUF "deathscythe"- despite having a 50:50 weight distribution! Much more planted now, lovely to drive. Something in the new suspension model? Or maybe they messed up the actual weight distribution in GT5?

Shame there's no Ginetta :(

I honestly don't know, there were quite a few cars that were giving me a fun experience. I think the most enjoyable so far though was either my 1988 Lamborghini Countach or my 2002 Viper GTS painted in GTS Blue pearl. They're both quite entertaining to drive while not being too difficult to drive to the point of giving me a headache.
 
Shocked no one has talked about the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe. This car is a beast alittle loose around the corner. Recently upgraded the car from 521pp to 599pp ( oil change, racing soft sup., racing brakes, tuned tranny, lsd, triple clutch, driveshaft, supercharger, class 3 weight reduction, carbon hood, window reduction, sport softs, and aero kit). This is now one of my favorite cars!
 
I've been meaning to get the Cadillac, but I'm saving/grinding money for a orange X2010 ^_^

I'm still l l less than 20% in the game but I'm loving the megane trophy. With lesser tires in the back doesn't really handle like fwd
 
That 15th Anniversary Stratos. Tuned to 500PP, it kills absolutely everything in its class. And it's a mad, mad car! The slightest bit of power on in the corners and the little menace loses control. But it's such a hoot.

The X2014 Junior is utterly joyous to drive. I'm not a fan of these X cars but this is just brilliant. Any corner, any speed, it flies.

I best mention as well the LCC Rocket, SRT Viper, Bugatti Veyron, Pagani Huayra, Mitsubishi Evo VI TME, Abarth 500 and I would also sing the praises of the new Focus ST but, as the gap between 4th and 5th gear is so huge you could fit another gearbox in between them, I won't.

Let's add more cars that so far have made me smile:

-The old Countach. Way faster and steady than I would've anticipated. As I mentioned in another thread, that thing drives so well, even on Comfort Softs and ABS 0 that I wonder if it's broken. Not a hint of wheelspin or oversteer. Bites the road like an M3 CSL E46.

-Mustang Boss 302. I HEAVILY underestimated that car. I love it so much that I doubt the GT500 is even worth it. It's so nimble and balanced for being a Mustang.

-Viper ACR. Not much to say. I love Vipers and this is still the king of all snakes. And you can delete that stupid wing!! Finally!! Now it's the ultimate sleeper since it looks (almost) like a regular Viper.
 
I'm a little ashamed to say this, but that little Clio RS is an absolute blast. I've got it to 417hp on Comfort Medium and it's still a little point-and-squirt FWD monster.

The mere thought of a Viper being considered a sleeper. :lol: But compared to the Coupe it's just ridiculous.
