Which car was your 1st purchase? (Or will be your 1st, if you don't have GT4 yet...)

I am going to go for the '93 Civic SiR-II. It was my first choice for GT1 & GT2, and love to drive it even though it's fwd.

My first car I bought was a 91' Skyline from the used cars lot, 9,000 credits. It was the only thing there that caught my eye, but now theres great NSXs and all sorts in the used car lot.

At the moment though, i won a Toyota Rally car, sold it for around 250,000 credits, and bought a TVR Cerbera Speed 12 '00 which i love to bits, apart from i need to work on the aceeleration a bit as it's a bit stuttery through thte early gears. Over 1000PS (btw, is PS like the same as horsepower, or something......im not sure and it's kinda annoying)

Yall might wanna check what cars are available in the used car lots for day 1 before picking a car to buy.

Check out Famine's used car list, its from week 1-20.

Best Car to buy for under 10,000 credits IMO would be the 95 Honda Integra Type-R in the "Used Car 90's A" lot. Its got the best power/weight ratio by far for under 10k, and if the conversions are exactly divided by 100 from the ASIAN version to the NA version, it'll cost 7,797... Leaving you with 2,203$ left for modifications.

In GT2: 1991 GTS-t Skyline(in Jet silver), MR2 Supercharger ('86), Pulsar GTi-R ('91), Spoon S2000/Copperhead Concept.

In GT3: Trueno, License test Miata/RX-8
In GT4: Maybe the same GTS-t (?)

But I saw in a earlier post someone mentioned transferrable credits from the last one. Is that possible? Is it based on your completion? How does it work?

Trueno's pretty harsh... It can get powerful but has poor grip, thus doesn't take advantage well. It was my first GT3 car, and I rolled 540 miles on it, just upgrading, before I got enough money for a better car (NSX Type R). :yuck:

This time I'll go for a Benz 190 if it's available, or an M3 otherwise.

i think when i finally get gt4 im gonna bust my ass for a bit to get golds in the first two licenses, sell them, and use the money thats transferred since i have gt3 data....and hopefully be able to get A. an elise to race with, and B. any kind of muscle car to waste time and drift the crap outta the first few races....ive always wanted to drift a muscle car

My first Car?

Anything American Muscle would be good, even the bottom of the varrell of that type.

Anything Brittish (TVR, Jag, Aston martin) would be great....but incredably unlikely, eh.

So my only real hope is that they have included AMERICAN used cars....perhaps a used Taurus SHO? I don;t know, from the car lists I've seen here, I'm not sure which USA cars could be possibly found used. I would fall over dead with happiness if I could start with a cheap, beat-up, used Dodge Charger.

Well I did a new game (after creating one with just the licenses and no cash bonus from GT3). I won three Sunday Cup races with the Lupo (just an oil change) and bought an EVO IV and an oil change (from what would be 11,750 on the US version i.e 1,175,000) and was able to do Special Condition Race 2 and sell the car to get 270,000 or so (27,000,000 Japanese version). That definitely seemed the way to go.
