Which peugeot is better?

I was wondering which one looks, drives etc better:
106 S16 '03
106 Rallye '03

S16 is my personal favourite, as it sounds better IMO, but i do also aspire to own one...once insurance is below 2k...currently estimated at 4K

Neither the S16 nor the Rallye is good. So where is the need to find out which one is "better"?

Absolutely love the 106 in real life, unfortunately in the world of GT it seems a little too, well, slow compared to what I'm used to. The S16 was in my understanding built to compete with the golf GTI. It's slightly heavier but has more power than the ralle. The ralle was a special edition model built in Britain only (I think) with the proper rally race car in mind. Only 500 were built - 200 in blue, 200 in red and 100 in black (I think again). These versions were slightly less powerful than the more popular S16 version but were also lighter and ultimately more desirable.
I personally prefer the ralle version 👍 . To me it's slightly more agile and superior to drive.

Basing on real life specifications, the S16/GTi version is better.
The Rallye version in the game has got an older, lower output 1.6 8 valves engine.

The "real" 106 Rallye version that hasn't been included in the game was lighter (around 800 Kg) and had a high revving 100 hp 1.3 engine.

I prefer the Rallye. By the middle/end of next week, I hope to have a fully functional 400PP off-road version posted. I've already done two of the 206s.

If we're talking straight from the dealership, the 106 S16 is about 1-1.5 seconds per minute faster than the 106 Rallye.

Pretty much on any track.

Only the original, pre-1996 Rallye had the 1.3.

Yes, that's what I was referring about. The older, lighter "Phase I" version, which was in my opinon the only "real" (as in "cult-status, almost legendary") 106 Rallye. Maybe I should have been clearer.
