Well?

I use 3.xx To play my music,
2.xx to fadiddle with the ID3 tags.

I think i still have a copy of winamp 1.65 somewhere around here:D;)

Right now I use 2.80. I will switch to 3.0 when the final version is released if it is better. If it is a resource hog, I'm not getting it.

this might be a good place to ask this what site do people use to find music since napster went down

Space, how has version 3 been working for you? I'd really like to give it a try, but I worry about how stable it is...

Hmm....

Its Kinda Iffy on me.

Playing Mp3's is no problem, very stable.

But when I get to many components open (about 3 or so) It freaks out, and they quit responding, kinda.( not a fatal error or anything, i just cant select it) All i do to fix that is close that component, and it works again.

Normally, i just close everything down except the Main window, and the playlist editor. once i load all my music, i close the playlist editor

The reason that i use winamp3 is because i like to have winamp on top of everything, so i can access the controls quickly, but winamp2 takes up to much space, and when its minimized to too small to see, so i winamp 3 with the skin 'corneramp', really awesome.

here's a pic of winamp2 they way i use it, and the way i have winamp 3 set up:

I see. :) That Corneramp skin looks awesome!

I'm using 2.78c. In the absence of Napster, I'm using Bearshare.

I use 2.78 I was gonna download the Beta 3, but they said that they haven't finished checking it all and there might still be bugs and glitches in it

IIve been using winamp V2.666 for aaaages until yesterday when I got v 2.80. My comp is hooked up to my hifi so it is a part of my music experience. Audiogalaxy is the on for me, I hate Kaza too many damn other things install with that prog. At least I can remove the gator stuff from the registry with audiogalaxy.

i got the crack for the current mmjb. pisses all over winamp.
