I'm awful at rallying and was wondering what WRC is the best for the Rally Events?
Cheers!

If previous TT results are correct the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Super Rally Car '03 should be the fastest, but really, anything not Group B and still 4WD works fine.

There are some slow ones you should avoid though. Actually, scroll down this thread and see the results for yourself.

Any WRC will do the job, making sure you avoid the slowest ones. I find the Subaru or Evolution Rally cars the best by far IMO, specifically the standard models. But since those cars are pretty tough to find, I guess you can invest in a premo WRC. I haven't really tested those but the Subaru or the Citroen are pretty decent.

I think I have the standards and I have 19mil so money is no problem!

Despite this I have a love affair with the Peugeot 206 rally car. And the ford RS200 always seems to be fast in races, if not a little more difficult to control :) Bar that

Evo super rally car '03 :)

It depends on how you can control a ridiculously powerful car offroad IMO.
The Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Evolution 2 goes off like a bomb if you can't handle it, but once tamed, it's a seriously fast car. Much like the Lancia Delta S4, which I despise :irked:

If you can't, any of the Premium WRC's are a good starting point. Preferably the Subaru Impreza WRC. Only slight modifications to all Rally Cars are needed to suit your driving style :)
Oh, and I find the Lancer Super Rally Car to be overrated to be perfectly honest. Not a looker, either. :grumpy:

I think the best rally car for Aspec events is Sebastian Loeb's citroen WRC, as I feel it handles better than the imprezas or lancers on dirt/snow. For a tarmac race any rally car could get easy gold.

I used the Suzuki SX4 Rally car and won pretty easily ;) Give it a try!

Or if you wanna go overkill, look for any Group B Rally Car

Just remember to disable TC and you'll be fine.

From someone that almost exclusively runs rally races, I like the '08 Impreza WRC car, the '03 Impreza rally car and the Super Evo the best cars. The '08 Impreza has stump pulling torque which is great for digging out of corners and uphills, the '03 Impreza makes great power throughout the powerband, and the Evo just has great grip. On all of those cars I run the stage 3 engine upgrade and the mid-rpm turbo, as it will give you the best torque.

I like the Ford Focus WRC '08 and Suzuki Swift WRC '08 cars too, but they lack a 6th gear, which really makes a difference, IMHO.

Depends what events your doing I would think. Some events are geared towards modern WRC specs, so look for those cars, late 90s on I think: Evos or Scooby are probably the safest bet but don't discount the C4 or Focus.

The super rally Mitsi is outside the WRC spec, as are group B, obviously. If you are finding it a bit of a struggle leave the Bs until later

One of my faves is the CZ3 Tarmac rally car, its not a WRC though, and despite its name it is very good off road. ;
